Ames Block & Wall™ Liquid Rubber Waterproofer,5 Gal, White

Bought 5 gallons of this paint and it really is thick goes on like cake frosting , doesn’t run, but of course don’t put it on like really thick or it doesn’t dry. Just paint it on but lots thicker. fills the gap in the cracks great for my planter bed against cinderblock just like that dry lock, but I think it feels thicker.

THE VERY BEST. I have been using this product for over 10 years now. It is wonderful. My entire basement is waterproofed with this product. It has great coverage, it is thick enough to do the job but goes on very easily and smoothly. The application is so easy to control and clean up with a breeze. The white of this product is gorgeous. We call the basement the marshmallow room. It is an amazing white that has just a bit of a shimmer. I have gotten this in both the 5 gal and 1 gal cans. It is worth every penny!

This is some thick stuff but it goes on very nicely and it seems to be working in our tornado shelter. Would recommend and but again if I needed it.

We were getting water in our basement for years. First just moisture, then a full on pour! I mean it was pouring in! I grabbed this paint and painted the room the room the water was coming in at and also did a skirt around the outside. We had pla s to repair a damaged gutter, also just above the leak spot in the basement, but before we could get to it Mother Nature had other plans. We had a huge downpour! Nothing... bone dry. Even with the broken gutter spilling everything right along side the house! I couldn't believe it! I highly recommend this product, but do following the directions when applying it. It is very low oder and I felt safe using in the house with my 4mo baby around. Granted not in the same room where I was painting, but you get my point. Make sure you have the correct rollers too! That makes a huge difference when applying it. Just for safe measures I did apply two coats on the inside, but only one outside. May have to buy more and hit the rest of my basement. I would like to use it on my floor down there too, just for some extra strength.

Good coverage, looks So much nicer than the traditional black sealant. We have a light gray house and this white sealant looks very nice with it.

Product has great adhesion and a pleasant odor. I have used on two interior basements and it works well. Be sure to fill large cracks first and put on 2-3 coats and leave proper drying time between coats. Not a substitute for exterior waterproofing, but along with an interior perimeter drain system it functions as the next best thing. May want to use a silane-siloxane concrete sealer to fill pours of concrete first if you are lucky enough to have bare concrete walls and let dry before applying.

I’m really impressed with this paint! We had a slight dampness problem on one wall of a basement storage room. The walls were bare concrete block. I was worried this paint would be too thick to roll on evenly and that it might peel right off. Definitely not the case. The paint, although appearing like the consistency of pudding rolls on smoothly and evenly. I applied one coat, then let it dry for 24 hours, then applied the second coat. The room looks clean and bright. I just applied it this past week, so I can’t attest to how it will last, but I’m very pleased with the outcome so far.
