Great sand box! we bought the 5X10ft and its easy to assemble and takes exactly 1yd of beach sand

This was easy to assemble and our students love them!

This is a beautifully crafted and durable sandbox. We just put it up last week for our grandchildren, and they loved it. The hinges fit together nicely, the bench seats pop off easily. The cover comes with elastic edges that loop around a notch in the corners to cover securely to protect from weather and animals. We anticipate this lasting as long as our grandchildren play in the sand! One thing to note: There is a sand barrier for the bottom of the sandbox. We missed this because it was packaged with the cover. Luckly we already had a weed barrier under it so we should be just fine, but it's good to note that the barrier comes with the set, even though you cannot see it when you open the box.

I'll start with the good.This sandbox is huge, easy to install and comes with a vented cover to keep out the neighborhood cats. For the Spring summer season this gave my kids and many others hours of enjoyment until...Problem #1 The coverThe cover works well at keeping out the cats however, towards the end of the season the chipmunks found they can use this as a home and gladiator arena. I always inspect the sand before letting the kids play, I opened the sandbox up one sunny day to find chipmunk footprints, burrow holes and body parts. They slipped in under the cover, since it does not fit snugly around the perimeter. I now have over 2,500lbs of sand that smells like rotting chipmunk waste and needs to be replaced. I keep the cover on tight, pulled down to the ground level and elevated by 3 balls in the center to allow for water drainage. This is not an issue with how the cover is put on, it's an issue with the connecting areas that allow for a 3" area for chipmunks to climb in and fight for this private territory. Also note the chipmunks are not burrowing in from underneath. My original intention was to build my own sandbox so I created a 11' x 6' x 5" deep pad of rock to level the sandbox. The pad is 3" depth of large drainage rock topped by 2" of tamped gravel which does not allow chipmunks to burrow up from below.Problem #2 The sidesThe sandbox is filled about 2" from the top with Quickcrete play sand, the sides have bowed out a few inches. The large nails keep the sides in place at the bottom, but the tops are curving outward. It's holding together but this just speaks for the design of the product.Final ThoughtsAfter about 5 months I now regret taking the lazy way out and buying this. I have 2500lbs of unsafe play sand to get rid of, I'm out almost 500 bucks + sand costs and I need to build my own sandbox for next season.

Super easy to put together and seems well made. We've had it for about 6 weeks and the only complaint is that the cover is already sun bleaching. I'm not sure how much longer it'll hold before it starts wearing out

We bought this for our 3 year old son, and he loves the sand box. it's very easy to assemble. i did it in about 15 minutes. no tools require. Great product

I bought this for my grandsons and they love it! So do their parents. Also, it has a cover, which is perfect.

Shipping was earlier which was much appreciated as this was for my son's birthday. My son and his friends had so much fun. Plenty of room for everyone. Easy to assemble!
