Do you need to have your phone close by for this to work?

invisaWear works with a connected smart phone that’s within 30 ft. Unfortunately, during the majority of attacks, your phone is either out of reach (e.g at the bottom of a purse) or if it’s in your hand you can’t really look at the attacker and ask them to pause, unlock your phone, call 911, and tell the operator where you are and what the emergency is. Question 2

Is the call to 911 part of the button press?  Or is it a separate step?  I would want to reach 911 most importantly, as no family lives locally.

Thank you for reaching out to us!  The invisaWear charm contains hidden technology.  The charm uses a Bluetooth connection with a paired compatible smartphone that can be up-to 30 feet away.  Depending on the phone, the range can be much farther.  Upon double pressing your charm, an alert would be sent out to your emergency contacts letting them know that you need help and are in an emergency situation.  It shares your live GPS location and it can also optionally contact 9-1-1.

So it sends texts but can't contact 9-1-1 outside the us. but does it send gps location to emergency contacts outside the us?
