One Hundred Shoes (Step-Into-Reading, Step 2) One Hundred Shoes (a.k.a. the centipede book, in our home) is GREAT. I bought it as a "math" reader for my kids, ages 5, 6 and 9. They all enjoy it but my 5yr. old son esp. LOVES it. We began reading it just before K5 began and he memorized it w/in two days. Although it's currently beyond his reading level, it has served as a great incentive; he is learning/beginning to actually read the book he loves so much. It does Not touch on "math" aspects as much as expected however my kids love the rhyming and the fantasy of a centipede wearing shoes and wearing different types for different occasions has offered scope to broaden their imagination! They immediately looked up centipedes on the internet to "see" what a real centipede looks like,etc.We read it often as it maintains its appeal :-) Five Silly Fishermen (Step-Into-Reading, Step 2) A Dollar For Penny (Step-Into-Reading, Step 2)

Teach kids with reading English & Math in one book
I purchased this for my 5yr old - Kinder 2. Read it to her today but I will ask her to read it on her own next time to practise her reading, it also teaches her counting 100s

Ideal para aprender
Tiene imágenes muy lindas, texto adecuado al nivel que establece. La historia es entretenida y ayuda a fortalecer y aumentar el vocabulario en el idioma inglés. Excelente para aprender.
