Elmer and Rose

I love the Elmer series! It is new to me but I am crazy about Elmer! I am a an kindergarten teacher and I love that Elmer is different and that he is a star among the elephants. I love that he is friends with all of the animals and accepted by all. Good lessons for my students!

My grandson (3 1/2) likes the book.

My class was studying a unit on friendship and the Elmer and Rose book was a perfect addition. There are many art extensions that go along with this, as well as discussions about individuality and friendship. I highly recommend this book for the 3 - 6 age crowd.

Great condition, I bought it used & sometimes used kids books are iffy. Great story, we love Elmer & this was another keeper.

My 4 year old grandson fell in love with the cover of this book and the inside did not disappoint. I have purchased the other 'elmer' books and also bought the stuffed Elmer and rose. They are his go-to books.

A great book to teach children that everyone is unique and that uniqueness makes us all special. The addition of Rose,his pink friend will attract girls to the story even more. My students and I love Elmer!

I gave this book as a baby shower gift and also bought the stuffed toy versions of Elmer and Rose. They were the hit of the shower!

A lovely way to introduce ideas about how others look different to you. Lovely story for small and large children. Nice to read a story that has all colours of elephants included.

We love many of the other Elmer books (e.g. the very first Elmer book, Elmer and the rainbow, and Elmer and the Hippos), but didnt like this one as much. We offered it to a girl named Rose, who seemed to like it, although I think it is better for children who have already read some of the other books.

Very colourful pictures and charming story.Granny loved it!,My 3 year old grandson wasn't as keen on it as I was,which surprised me.But it is a lovely gentle book,and as a retired reception teacher in primary schools for 40 years,I would highly recommend it.Carolyn Killingley

If your child likes Elmer they will love this book, it's a lovely story and my little girl loves reading it time and time again.

Excellent quality, has been taken everywhere, especially bed time
