Dominique Women's Longline

I bought this 6 months ago. I thought I would wear it once for the wedding I was in and never want to wear it ago. I was wrong. Maybe because I gave my measurements and it is in fact custom but it is THE most comfortable bra I have ever owned. I wear it around the house in my comfortable clothes. It makes me look great and pulls me in some. It's made in America. Came from New York. The bones have not come through the material after all this time. The bra I bought at Dillard's for $45 the wires came through after the 3rd wear. I'd challenge anyone to find a better bra, strapless or not, than this one.

Extremely Well-made undergarment, runs about 1/2 size too small. I had to buy extenders.

Stayed in place for a 12 hr day (& i wasn't sitting still for most of it), supported modest curves with a chubby tummy, and was actually pretty comfortable no matter how i moved. If you are really Full Busted, it might not work strapless - the cups are a little soft & 'buckled' a little bit when i moved or bent the night i tried it on but putting on the straps or a cami over it got rid of that. Common complain is "finding the right size" - that is a guessing game & depends on knowing your build & what you've BEEN wearing, not just "size". Here's my two cents: if your shirts & pants run about the same size like me (i'm an XL/0X top & a 14 plus/16 Misses pants), go up a band & down a cup - i actually went up 2 bands & down 1 cup because i've put on weight & not replaced my everyday ones yet, so my 'regular' size wasn't the right one to start with. If you're really hippy (or have a tummy) with smaller bust/shoulders, it may be harder to fit right because you can't get the cups small enough when you get the waist big enough - they AREA sized by proportion. And someone really busty but smaller waisted would have opposite problem of not getting waist sized to be snug & supportive if got a full enough cup size. If you haven't bought bras in years, go try on a new one before buying this to be sure where to start.

This product is nicely made but I think it is only intended for bodies that are in good shape. Mine is not. I am a senior who is fighting with gravity and some excess pounds. The outfit I have chosen for my granddaughter's wedding has a top with thin straps and requires a strapless foundation that will lift my bust into place and hopefully give some shape to the rest of my body. Since there were no pictures of the back of the Dominique Bra 8541 I had no idea how low the back side was cut. I had expected it to follow under my arms and across my back to support the cups in front. This bra swings down to slightly above mid back. After reading the various reviews about the way to figure the size, I ordered a 40 C. I usually wear a 38 C. The cups fit fine but the 40 barely made it around my body and I had to use the very biggest set of hooks. They did hook, but the result was to end up with lots of skin hanging over the top of the back making a terrible bulge under the top of my outfit. If you have a body with no excess fat or skin then I'm sure this would work nicely for outfits with low cut backs and the need for a strapless bra. It just doesn't work for bodies needing lots of support everywhere.

Too small in the bodice part, too gaping and unsupportive in the boobs part, though I was accurate to my sizing. I don't see this being a practical purchase or bearable to wear for any amount of time even if the sizing were perfect.

I was so happy that this fits me so well! I was a little nervous reading some other reviews but I didn't have to be. This is tight enough where it needs to be but isn't too tight. Does rub a little right under my armpits but that is to be expected, I just have to break it in. Fabric is really soft and smooth, underwire is not cumbersome or too noticeable. Fits great under my wedding dress and you can't even tell I am wearing it. All in all, completely satisfied with this purchase.

I read so many reviews and can confirm that the cupsize needs to be sized down one cupsize. I normally wear a DD, and the D cup fit my flesh. The C cup had spillage. However, these are definitely designed as shapewear, not just for a longline bra. I would say you need to size up around your girth by several inches. Your waist will look snatched but as soon as you try to sit down, up it rolls.

I bought so many different bustiers for my wedding dress. Nothing was good! Every other products had thick abdominal area so I was hoping this product was perfect. I like it. Although it's a little short that it does make fat loop right below the waistline. But I feel like it's inevitable when you push down your skin plus fat from the waist. Wish it was longer. But I would say this was the best one out of all. So, I'm keeping mine.

Ein sehr schöner BH. Leider war er mir zu groß und nur 2 Nummern kleiner verfügbar (da ich zwischen 2 Größen hänge). Für Kleider mit tiefen Rückenausschnitt gut geeignet (geht ca 1/2-1 handbreit unter die Schulterblättern). Lieferung erfolgt innerhalb 1 Woche und auch die Retour und Preiserstattung erfolgte ohne Problem binnen 1 Woche.
