It contains alcohol, to what extent that the alcohol it contains infection is questionable

Q: How quickly does this absorb into the skin?

Being a balm it goes on wet and slick and needs to be massaged into the skin. It is cool and refreshing and absorbs nicely unlike a cream or lotion.
