UTP-6 12.8w/mk Thermal Putty for VGA GPU IC Processor Rapid Cooling Thermal Pad Replacement Heat Blocking Putty High Performance (10g)

I recently redid my gigabyte RTX 3090, 2023 zephyrus g14, & a 2020 zephyrus g14. When I was replacing the old thermal compounds, I used this on the memory chips, power delivery, and other ICs that were covered in thermal pad material. This stuff actually provided a little bit lower temperatures than K5 pro. The device I tested the hardest was a 380 and the memory junction temperatures went from 90C (k5 pro down to 78C max.). I used 3d mark to stress test my GPU for 2 hours. I forgot to turn on my portable ac before going to make food. So that max temperature is what was achieved in a bedroom that hit 80°F(26.6C) inside. The gigabyte 380 requires a thicker application because some of the thermal pads 2 or 2.5mm thick. I don't remember the improvements on the two zephyrus laptops, but it was better than the factory stuff. The thermal putty does like to stick to the little stick after sooping a few times, but scraping the stick off back into the container and then re-scooping helps to stop accidentally picking the putty back up off whatever you're applying it to.

Great temps, easy to use.

I opened up my PS5 to check on the liquid metal. The thermal putty was dried, and was cracking. There was an oxidation on the Processor/heat sink. I buffed them out, and re-applied some liquid metal. I did some research and read that this is a superb product. Long story, short. It is! It was easy to shape and place on the components. I put the PS5 back together, and there is no more overheating!!

Much easier for me to use as it was a first time for me. I wasn’t able to use the utp 8 very easily so I got the U6 pro instead. Turned out perfect. I got so addicted to rolling it and placing it, I ended up taking apart my wife’s $130 laptop and just to look for an excuse. Sadly only was able to switch a thermal pad on the ssd. The rest of it is on my carpet and randomly stuck to the bottom of my feet now. I hope it will cool me down as I make contact with the tile floor during summer.

This stuff works great. Helped my temps out but was kind of expensive. Done people say it's dry and crumbling but when you get it, open it and see if it's softer than playdo. If it's dry send it back. Mine was soft and easy to mash down when installing heatsink on my laptop. 20g barely did an Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI. Negative 1 star for cost to amount.

Top notch. On my older asus tuf 15" (just reputtied) it kept the vram modules capped at 79C during a 10 minute fuzzy donut test. Cpu/gpu got ptm7950 and i don't recommend this product for those. Arrived fast (like a week faster than the ptm) and was ready to go. Of course for a laptop just wait until everything is in before opening, but was a well spent afternoon to breathe new life into an older system. Factory putty was baked on the cpu and gpu but still gummy on the chips even after a few years, kudos to asus. Got plenty left, so good value here for the price. Keep the product cool to improve placement, but you don't have to spread it all over if you let the heat sink do that job for you. I recommend wearing nitrile or similar gloves when applying to keep your skin oils out of the mix. Thanks, Upsiren!

Used instead of normal thermal pads after having to remove the heatsink on a lenovo laptop with VRM's and GDDR at irregular heights; Lenovo had originally used something similar. Was much easier to use than some reviews of thermal putting in general have suggested. I used way too much, but that did not hurt anything--I just wiped off what got squeezed out the sides of the heatsink.

Worked great and easy to apply. One unit was enough to replace all the thermal pads from an RX6600.
