WHAT A GODSEND!!! IT WORKS AND CATS LIKE IT!!!!!!
Duralactin Feline is for cats with inflammatory disorders of one kind or another. And I've gotta say, this stuff was a very pleasant surprise indeed! I bought this for a stray semi-feral cat that has a limp on a front leg. God only knows why (I hate to even speculate!). I figured that as soon as I added this stuff to his regular food he'd turn his nose up at it but nope, he LIKES it! Apparently this is made from a particular milk protein...not milk but a specific protein in it. After his first dose, his limp was SO much less pronounced than it had been only the day before. I was truly shocked! After a few days of this, I began adding Cosequin and I can't believe that unlike my snobby indoor cats, he STILL eats his food even though he could get plain food from the bowl next to him that his little cohort uses that he showed up with...well the cat showed up with another cat, not a bowl! lolI'm SO incredibly happy this works for him! It really fills my heart with joy to see him clearly not in so much pain and stiffness!!! Now to try it on the stuck up... This one really is a true snob... Indoor cat for her skin and see how she does with it!

Amazing product
This is product is amazing! We have a 15 year old cat that we had tried everything on. She has arthritis and you could tell she was in pain because she didn't have full range of motion and didn't want to play as much. We tried injections, laser treatment, modified diets and narcotics. Honestly this product is the only thing that has had lasting and amazing results. It is almost like we hit the rewind button and we have a cat that is 10 years younger. She is now running and jumping and playing. If you had asked me a year ago I wouldn't have thought it was possible. This is a really amazing product and I hope it works as good for your feline friend as it did ours. This is also a really easy product to use. All you have to do is open the capsules and mix it in with their food. It is also safe for the rest of the cats to eat so you don't have to worry about feeding separately. 5+ stars!

Didn't work for my guy
I got this my tubby older cat. I had great hopes for it. Duralactin had been a life saver for my dog for many years. Jake has inflammatory bowel disease. After a few days of just one capsule with breakfast, he started vomiting over the next few days and had very loose stools. I took him off and within 24 hours he was back to normal. I think with his gut issues, it just was not for him. I will try it again with his brother if we get to that stage.

Actually works
I bought this on the advice of my cat's vet, he's elderly (16) and has been stiff from arthritis for several years. He didn't really like it at first, but he has been less stiff lately. I open a capsule in the morning and one in the evening to shake over his dry food. The directions show three pills a day for his weight range, but I use two, since three seem to upset his stomach.

Can't use, made my cat vomit. Need the liquid that's on eternal backorder!
I'd been giving my 13 year-old cat liquid Duralactin for 5 mos, an amazing product that helped her pain immensely and, in just 5 days, brought her sweet personality back after a bout of serious crankypants-itis. The liquid has been on backorder everywhere for quite some time; I've contacted the manufacturer twice over the last three months for an ETA, but they'll only say "sometime in the next few months." The mfg recommended the joint paste or capsules as options. Well, first I tried the paste and warn you, don't be fooled by the name "joint paste," it has added glucosamine but the active anti-inflammatory ingredients are severly reduced and it did nothing to help my cat's pain and stiffness, not to mention the bad mood that has also returned. Money wasted. Then I bought capsules, which have the same amount of Mirolactin as the liquid but ZERO Omega 3/6s. AND, my cat vomited both days I added it to her food. Stopped it yesterday and, no surprise, there was no vomit today. Now using the one with L-lysine in it until the liquid is available again; at least it has closer to the amount of active ingredients as the liquid, and isn't making her vomit. Hoping I can return the unused capsules, which was yet another waste of money.

Not sure if it really works or not
I'm not sure, really, if this works or not. it's easy to administer, though, since my cat readily eats the contents of the capsule mixed into a little bit of wet food. I finally found one kind of wet food that he'll actually eat more than one or two licks of, and have been adding this to it and he doesn't seem to notice or mind. Really haven't noticed an improvement in arthritis or allergy symptoms, but maybe it needs more time to work.

Cat with inflammatory bowel disease
For the past month, I've been giving this to my 9-year-old cat as directed (1 capsule AM/1 capsule PM). I didn't start to see any improvement in her poop until about three weeks into treatment. It's definitely not "normal" yet, but just a bit better. I reordered to give it a try for another month. Fingers crossed there will be further improvement! (She is also on grain free wet/dry, probiotics, and cobalamin.)

I hope she takes this.
I hope I get my cat to take this. I put it in her food the first night and she threw up. I am going to try again in a week or so. If she throws up again then I will not use it. I have high hopes this helps my aging beauty though.
