The best mandolin pick
This is the best pick out there for Neapolitan/Classical mandolin. It's ideal thickness makes tremolo technique easy as well as tremelo on full chords. I've tried other celluloid picks but the quality of celluloid used by pickboy is superior. It brings out the richness of overtones and it's highly polished surface is noiseless even when playing very softly. It also responds well to dynamic changes. I am impressed with pickboy's guitar picks for electric/acoustic guitars as well.

Great mandolin pic especially for runs and single notes
The shape and stiffness on this pic is perfect for single notes/runs/melodies on a mandolin. I like holding a pic with my pointy finger naturally curved so I can't play with the extra small pics. This pic is around a medium thickness and works well for strumming although if you are mostly strumming I think something not so pointed would be better. I bought a packaged of these and will be buying more to stock up on them as they work really well. A bit expensive for pics but they work much better then trying to use regular guitar pics as the double strings do make a difference verses a guitar.

Best pick for a bright, crisp sound. Have tried many other picks and keep coming back to this one.
I'm not exactly sure why these are so great to play with. They are so small they seem like they would fall out of my hand and yet they don't. They are cheaper and thinner than most recommended mandolin picks but they actually sound great. If you want a bright, clean attack these are unbeatable. I have tried so many other picks including Bluechip TAD50, Dunlop Jazz III's, etc. My other favorite pick is a white Wolle pick but it has a MUCH softer sound which is not always what I want. I also recommend the Dunlop PVP103 Pick Variety Pack because you get a great variety and even though I like these better you never know you may like the Jazz III shape better. If you want a really SOFT sound definitely check out the Wolle picks though.

Too thin!
These are too thin for playing the serious mandolin. A thicker pick will give more cotrol and better sound.
