Visibly killed all the mosquito larva
The latest batch of mosquito dunks I got doesn't seem to work because I had mosquito larva in my outdoor water tanks. I got this stuff for fungus gnats in my sensitive houseplants, and when I noticed the mosquito larva outside I decided to mix some of it in. I took a sample of the water a day later and all the mosquito larva were dead, so it clearly worked better than the bad batch of mosquito dunks. On a cost basis it's cheaper per gallon treated than the dunks too, although not visibly "treated" to your neighbors as a floating dunk. I'll keep buying this and using it, and just use the dunks to make it obvious to the neighbors that my stagnant water bins (I keep it for the frogs) are not breeding mosquitoes so they don't call the city on me. As for the original reason I bought it, it wiped out the fungus gnats. I mix it with distilled water (tap water has chlorine which kills the good bacteria) and soak the soil of my houseplants. A little bit goes a long way because this is very concentrated. Much easier to use than soaking mosquito bits in water and then skimming them off to use the water as a soak. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Finally Solved our fungus gnat situation!
I am so grateful, this Finally took care of fungus gnats! I tried so many things for a year - getting rid of plants, repotting plants, sticky traps, apple cider vinegar, diatomaceous earth, nothing was working and it was so bad that my husband was swatting gnats while on work zooms & his clients were asking if he was OK. All of my favorite plants were infested because I took a bonsai outside for some sun one dayโฆ. Huge mistake. What finally worked was this product, in combination with the yellow sticky traps from Amazon. It did not take just 3 weeks though, I read reviews here thinking it would be taken care of in 3 weeks, but it was more like 6 weeks. So be patient, and put a very strong squeeze/stream of these drops into your indoor watering can & fill with water; and then let it sit for 30 minutes. It really helps if the drops can develop in there. Every week I would do this, once a week- make sure not to overwater the plants; that causes gnats. I watered every single house plant, and have 1 to 3 sticky traps in each plant, and finally after 6 weeks we have no more fungus gnats. Iโm still going to use it until all the drops are gone, which should be another 2 to 3 weeks. Thank you!

Fungus Gnat Killer
Got a bad batch of soil that brought in fungus gnats. These seems to be doing the job getting rid of those nasty bugs. Easy to measure out due to the dropper bottle. I asked Alexa to give me the proper dosing for my 5 gallon bucket. The small size bottle is going to lady forever!

Effective Larvicide
Highly recommend. This product works! This is a bioinsecticide. A Larvicide (Bacillus thuringiensis) or Bt, and acts on the larvae of insects. Very concentrated. Larvae eat the bacteria and essentially die. It has a short life but works very effectively to control mosquitoes and fungus gnat larvae. You need to use this product regularly to break the life cycles of gnats and mosquitoes as they constantly lay eggs that hatch into larvae. This product kills larvae only, not eggs or adult insects. I initially bought this product initially to control the fungus gnats in the peat moss and planting mixes that I used for my seed cell transplants. Most of these products are contaminated with fungus gnat eggs. To prevent gnats, I add a drop of Microbe Lift BMC to my water container each time I water. I grow indoors and did not have a single gnat flying around. I plan on using this product in my bird baths, fountains, flowerpots, and anything with standing water to help control misquotes in my yard.

The mosquito control liquid is a great booster to your monthly mosquito control.
The microbe-lift mosquito control liquid treatment was a good purchase, inexpensive and has shown to be very effective in quick reduction of mosquitos in our pond area. We have had not negative reactions to our fish or plants but have seen a reduction in mosquito and no larvae found in filters after 7 days. So far, the liquid has no odor, safe to usage and the duration of action could be longer. I will use it with my mosquito donuts to maintain mosquito control.

Not great for plants
Update: I wanted to love this product, but it does not work. The gnats in my plants grew more and more out of control until I decided to go back to Mosquito Bits. They are messier but they work. The gnats were reduced by 90% after one week/dose, and down to 95% after the second. I'll use for a couple more weeks until the gnats are gone. I've been using Mosquito Bits to control fungus gnats in my houseplants for several years. They work well but require soaking, straining, then disposing of the bits, which is time consuming and messy. And it can be hard to guage how much to make to water all of my 60 plants. These drops are so much easier to use. I put 1 or 2 drops in a gallon of water, then water the plants. No soaking, no clean up. If I need more I make another gallon. I've used them for two weeks and immediately reduced the gnats to just a few caught on my sticky traps. I will use for a few more weeks to be sure to break the entire life cycle. I will use on all new plants and new soil. I got the small bottle because it appeared to come in a dropper bottle (inside a plastic jar), even though it cost more per ounce. Convenience is worth the price. This bottle should last a long time even if I use it every week. Absolutely recommend to all indoor planty people.

Perhaps my bottle was defective?
I regret purchasing this product. It has caused me to have to reset the pond twice. I followed the instructions carefully as I am wary about my water quality but also really wanted the product to work. Unfortunately, if anything it appears to encourage mosquito larvae. It also turns the water extremely murky and rancid smelling, and leaves a nasty coating at the surface line. Once more I have to empty my pond and try to wash off the residue. Thankfully I did not have any fish in this pond, but if I manage to restore the water quality I had, fish is probably the better way to go for mosquito control. It seems that it works great for other people. Perhaps the bottle I received has been exposed to unsuitable conditions on its journey here? Amazon gave the option to return faulty product so at least there is that.

Eliminated all gnats in 2 weeks.
The seal was broken when received. I decided to try anyway, and after 2 weeks of consistently using a minuscule amount of product when watering my houseplants (1 drop per 2.5l) I am fungus gnat free. All gone.

Great.
After trying various methods of eradicating fungus gnats on my houseplants, including mosquito bits, which did nothing, and hydrogen peroxide, which worked at first but not for long, I saw a recommendation for this. The first time I used it I put new yellow sticky traps in all my plant pots to monitor the gnats. Three weeks later they were still all clean, absolutely zero gnats on them. I thought it was the stickies not working. But I haven't seen any of the annoying little blighters since that first treatment. Well worth the price as one drop diluted in water did my whole collection twice. Great stuff.

No good for house plant flies (fungus gnats)
I read reviews so I thought it would be the best thing for house plant flies (fungus gnats) so I tried it and it did nothing to kill the tiny worm-like larvae that turn into the gnats.
