Pixel Buds 2a - Wireless Earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation - Lightweight, Comfortable Fit - Water Resistant - Bluetooth Compatible - Iris

I purchased these due to a good offer price and to match my phone and watch. Firstly, the noise cancelling is so good for a pair of ear buds. The sound quality is great.I love the way you pop them in and my phone just connects and pauses what I'm listening to when I pop one out.The ear fit is comfortable and fit my ears comfortably. In addition, the case has a battery in it that charges the buds when not in use.A really great quality item.

At my age (67) I expect products to rarely live up to their performance claims. How wrong I was with these buds: they are astonishing in every regard!I was somewhat confused when I opened the box to only find instructions relating to the fitting of the rubber ear pieces. However when I turned on my phone everything came to life. The phone instantly paired and once I'd installed the Pixel app operating them was very clear and simple. The noise cancelling is amazingly effective and the quality of the sound, excellent. I really like the fact that the sound can be tailored to one's preference by means of the graphic equaliser in the app.The buds are streets ahead of my old Chinese ones and much better than the Bose ones I once ordered (and returned).A truly excellent purchase! I 100% recommend...

Wow! Possibly the best ear buds I have had! The sound quality is incredible! The fit is great .... I was a bit dubious that they would fit as I have tried to many other rubber seal type ear buds. I am very happy that they do. I also didn't want to spent over £100 incase but when I need a new pair I won't hesitate to upgrade.

These were not entirely what I was expecting. The sound quality is good, clear and the noise cancellation works as expected. Compared to the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, the Google Pixel Buds 2a are about 90% of the buds the Pro version is and I would say better value for money. The battery life is good and will last you about 7 hours with noise cancellation on and about 10 hours with it off, but the charging case has less capacity than the original Pixel buds A-Series.The unexpected part of these buds are the design, size and the fit. The right bud goes in my ear just fine, but the left one does not and will slowly loosen and fall out. I have tried every included ear tip and it makes no difference. I am not confident in using these out and about in case the left one falls out and it is gone forever. It is a case of design over function and practicality and more so when their predecessors, the Google Pixel Buds A-Series from 2021 had a wing that actually locked into the ear, whilst these new ones partially do that.I found the Google video by Google Help on how to wear these Pixel Buds 2a and followed the method to the letter, but still the left one refused to stay in. Naturally I went to the comments to see if anyone else had issues with the fit and unsurprisingly, Google turned off the comments... real helpful. These earbuds are good with features as Google Gemini and the app is very good but not as feature packed as you might get from Soundcore. I also find the sound quality is punchier on the original Google Pixel Buds A-Series and a better fit. I hope Google's next incarnation of the Pixel Buds will have a better design that caters for all ear sizes and shapes, as 2 ears are not the same and that is just on my own head.Sound Quality: 7.2/10... Design: 6/10... Fit: 5/10... Features: 8/10... App: 8/10... Battery Life: 9/10

This is my second pair of pixel buds and they are slightly different from my old set but still great they are clear and the battery life is great they fit well but do need to be inserted correctly which isn't an issue once learned.I do own a pixel phone so it's literally as easy as turning on the phone and opening the buds and away you go, it may be different with other makes but I will say my wife like to pinch mine and they work well on her iPhoneNot the cheapest on the market but I have got fed up of replacing cheep alternatives every 6 months. My old pair of buds got wrapped up in bedding and washed after 3 years but they worked great till the day they went for a long hot swim!Well worth the money and so convenient as long as no one washes them.

Amazing sound quality for someone who doesn't have the ear drums of a snob. I'd say these are well worth it if you pick them up on sale.

I had the Pixel Buds A series for years. They were always in my pocket, and they have been fantastic. When I saw the 2a at this price, I took the plunge and bought them. Although the battery life is great, the noise cancelling feature incredible and the overall quality also as you'd expect, the fit was terrible. The original A buds fitted snugly, never fell out, I could adjust them slightly without the music stopping (on the 2a, just touching them gently messes with the NC feature). I just couldn't get on with them so they've been returnedHuge shame, I feel Google have taken a step backwards with the fit, which is a shame as I would buy them again in a heartbeat if they had the same fit as the original A series.

Good sound comfortable tidy
