Light duty, but will last if used responsibly.
These pencil extenders are light duty, made of thin metal tubes. If you use them responsibly, with normal care they should last for quite a while. They are low cost and won't break the bank if you should lose, or break one. I have found that hold a normal pencil quite well. Other reviews say they are a waste of money, but I disagree. If you are very heavy handed, or drop and "stomp" on it, they will be damaged as they are not made of steel tube, or solid brass. But they are very low cost, and a good bargain. AMAZON does not sell junk!

light but flimsy
it's lightweight, and comfortable, but very flimsy. you can feel it flex if you apply any sort of pressure to it. take off the eraser and you'll see just how thin the walls of the shaft are. it also doesn't hold the pencil very securely, thicker colored pencils seem to hold better, but regular pencils like a hi-uni will turn or even push itself into the extender body. it'll do the job , but it's very delicate. i can see someone accidently stepping on it and that's all she wrote. you'll end up with a very flat extender.

Cheaply made.
Very cheap. It's probably going to work fine when I need it but it's definitely not worth the money. The materials and the design are just cheap.
