Nice packing & quick delivery by Amazon. Import series cd by Sony DADC, very consistent hard rock album by Quiet Riot & probably the best album from them. Sound quality is not great. Feels like 128 kbps mp3 playing in my speakers. Sadly, Randy Rhodes didn't play in this album but still if you want to feel the noise, go for it.

It's difficult to review something that essentially killed New Wave and had the landmark factor of metal first number one album in the US. With it opening the door for other Hard Rock/Metal bands of the 80's to get signed and succeed due to record labels taking advantage of the commercial potential of Hard Rock/Metal and trying to replicate the success with there own signed acts. In it's own right it goes down in the history books as a decisive moment for Metal often regard a classic of it's time.Quiet Riot were on top for only a handful of years with Metal Health and Condition Critical being the main focus in there short history of success as years later they would suffer from poor albums sales and line up changes that they to this day have never recovered.So when we get to the songs themselves Metal Health (Band Your Head) and the Slade cover Cum On Feel the Noize. The main singles and strong tracks on the album the rest despite being at a level of decency don't live up to first two tracks. But saying that Metal Health as a whole body of work is something I recommend considering songs like Love's A Bitch and Don't Wanna Let You Go are strong contenders and certainly do prove that Quiet Riot can walk the walk and talk the talk. Despite there very short lived success. Being overtaken by bands like Motley Crue and Ratt. Quiet Riot made history for metal music like them or not.

"Excellent CD from a bygone era, I bought this originally on Vinyl - many years ago when it was first released - 1983!!! Took me right back to those 'younger days' - great times!! The songs on this CD are excellent & I can listen to 'em over & over again! - This album is in my opinion a 'timeless classic' - one to go down in Metal History!! Buy it!!!

Una copertina così impressionante potrebbe far pensare che all’interno si nasconda della musica “malata”. Invece nulla di tutto questo: solo dei duri dal cuore morbido. Ma inizio dal principio. Tempo fa leggevo un librone, la cui lettura consiglio a tutti gli amanti del genere “Louder than Hell”, e tra le tantissime band citate e i moltissimi artisti sono capitato nella sezione dove si racconta di Randy Rhoads, il compianto chitarrista fondatore dei Quiet Riot assurto a leggenda quando ha militato nella band di Mr. Ozzy, the Madman of metal. Come spesso accade in questi casi, quando il destino si porta via i migliori è veloce il passaggio da notorietà a leggenda. E Randy è una leggenda della musica metal. Così convinto dal tanto leggere e anche spinto da un’innata curiosità verso il genere, senza alcuna preclusione, ho comprato quest’album anche se qui non suona più Randy. Lui ha già lasciato questi lidi per imbarcarsi nell’avventura con Ozzy Osbourne (che tanta fortuna musicale gli porterà). Ma comunque, appena l’ho messo sull’impianto sono rimasto sorpreso, anzi, appena finito l’ho riascoltato e poi l’ho riascoltato. Come si faceva una volta, e spero sempre di fare ancora in futuro, quando mi ritrovavo per le mani un bell’album e non smettevo di ascoltarlo. La sensazione è la stessa. Che poi sia pieno di quel power metal così “soffice” e che siano esplosi grazie alla cover di un pezzo degli Slade “Cum On Feel the Noize” è tutto relativo. Sfido chiunque a non iniziare a cantarsela “Cum on Fell the Noize”, così come non rimanere invischiati nel ritmo di “Don’t Wanna Let You Go”, dolce il giusto per i tormenti degli animi adolescenziali. E per tirarci su? Slick Black Cadillac, of course. Questo album aveva tutti i numeri per raggiungere i dischi d’oro e di platino che ha raggiunto. Una cosa bella? Per me è invecchiato bene.

Muy buen disco y más aun el buen precio para un clásico del rock. La verdad, lo compré por el tema "cum on feel the noise" ya que ése solo de guitarra que tiene esa canción me vuelve loco pero sucede que descubrí que era un cover de la banda Slade (el timbre de voz de los respectivos cantantes es rasgada y hasta similar). El disco tiene buenos temas , te gustará a la primera. Esto es lo bonito de la música, que vas por algo y descubres nueva cosas.Os: ahora estoy enganchado a Slade.

Para mí este es el mejor disco de Quiet Riot (tomando en cuenta que solo los primeros dos discos de la banda son los que valen la pena). Un hard rock lo suficientemente pesado para que el amante del heavy metal pueda disfrutarlo sin duda. Lástima que como el grueso de las agrupaciones después de su otro gran disco "Condition Critical" la banda se desinfló. Este "Metal Health" es 100 por ciento recomendable y disfrutable.

A mio parere il miglior lavoro dei Quiet. Basso, chitarre e batteria senza tanti fronzoli elettronici. Il pezzo più conosciuto è senz'altro Cum on feel the noise, cover degli Slades, ed è veramente esplosivo. La graffiante voce di DuBrow è molto particolare e dà una carica particolare a tutte le canzoni. A mio modo di vedere non metterei questo lavoro nella corrente heavy quanto nel classico hard rock

Deberían ser cinco estrellas pero lo dejo en cuatro ya que el CD no venia con el encellado original si no otro que no es el suyo. Por lo demás nada que objetar, como casi siempre perfecto.

Un clasico remasterizado. Sonidazo para un disco no lo suficientemente valorado.
