Altec Lansing Mini H2O IMW257 Bluetooth Speaker (Black)

I am one of those guys that does not like using headphones. I am also very particular about the kind of speakers I purchase. So, when I finally decided to take the plunge and invest in a speaker that would help me enjoy my music in the bathroom and at the pool, I decided not to take the plunge and just dip my toe into the waters. I did so by buying the Mini H20. My expectations were really low. I am forever sceptical about bluetooth speakers, and this time was no different. Considering I was getting these for under 1900, I thought it would be a good time as any to take a leap of faith, and I was pleasantly surprised! The speakers (for their size) are really really good. While there is barely any room for proper bass, it does provide some semblance of bass, and for a speaker of this size, it is definitely commendable. === What you should buy this for === If you are on a tight budget and you are kind who really likes your instrumental music (Arijit Singh, Yanni, Vanessa Mae, John Coltrane, all sound really good. As do Adele, Frank Sinatra, and Dido. Right from songs like Sanam Re to Take Five sound really clear. For vocals, instrumental, and such like, this is a definite buy. === What you should not buy this for === If you like really tight bass and cannot compromise on it at any rate, this is not for you (C'mon, these are palm sized with half a nanometre drivers). You should look really hard and get yourself a set of Altec Lansing MX 5021 and retire. (Yes, the 5021s are that good!) --- If you catch yourself smiling at the songs that I have mentioned in the 'what you should buy this for' section, hesitate no more. You will not go wrong. Take it along with you to the bath, put it in the tub, listen to it underwater (with the speaker side on the water) - it floats, and you will have one hell of a time. PS: There is a carabiner provided with the speaker, and it is very flimsy. But it is definitely up to the task of holding the speaker hanging to a hook!

To start with, let me tell you.. this is one little atom bomb of a speaker. Never ever come across anything as good as this within 2k budget range. I have used the JBL, Philips and logitec.. but Altec Lansing mini H2O is uncomparable! Cons:- 1) One of the smallest portable speakers 2) Modern rugged design with ergonomics 3) As described, waterproof / everything proof 4) Crisp and clear audio with unbeliveable treble and bass 5) Easy pairing via bluetooth 6) Aux option available. 7) Rechargeable inbuilt battery leaves you with approx 2.45 - 3 hours on continuous / simultaneous track change playback at 100% volume. Company claims 6 hours on 60% volume level. 8) Weightless yet sturdy built. Cons:- 1) battery could have been better.. atleast the device should have given 4 hours on continuous playback with 100 % volume. With the above mentioned pros and cons, i dont think the cons are something that should come into the picture. So guys, do not think twice if you want to buy a portable speaker within 2000 rs range.. this is the one for you. You wont regret buying it..

Audio quality:To be Honest it is the BEST when it is compared to any other Bluetooth speaker and the brand speaks for itself.But also it cannot be compared to any wired headphones or speakers because both are 'Apples and Oranges'.Any person can feel the difference when compared with any wired speakers but it cannot offer the portability that any Bluetooth speaker offers.I t is up to you to decide on your preference. Upside: Top notch quality(absolutely water proof-been using during showers,dust proof simply ALL PROOF:) ).LITTLE BEAST when it comes to audio quality,it easily fills an average to fairly big room with BIG sound. Downside: No playback buttons. MADE IN CHINA(if it is an issue for you). Nitty-gritty: BASS is the strong point. Treble is decent. Highs and Lows are fairly audible. Verdict: Highly recommended product for its pure quality not only for its build(material) but for why it is built(audio quality) if you can ignore the minor downside points mentioned above. I have been searching for a Bluetooth speaker.Then i found this altec lansing IMW275.It's normal market prise is around Rs.3500 , i brought it from amazon in Rs.1990 . The DSP quality 10 watt audio output from two 1 inch nodium magnet speaker with a perfect equilizer setting is a jaw opening experience. Among the two speaker there is one bass radiator, so it also gives a deep and crispy bass effect out of any good quality music file.Another important things...with 50% sound it gives upto 8 to 10 hours of audio playback time and it is everything proof thus it is always ready to go outdoor picnic or party.On the other hand a tiny shape like a shope is perfect for portability. It's on board microphone allows you to call without touching the mobile set.It is the starting range of Altec Lansing portable Bluetooth outdoor speaker and highly qualified.

DO NOT TO PURCHASE ANY ALTEC LENSING PRODUCT AMAZON AND ALTAC MAKING CUSTOMER FULL I would prefer all the user to not go purchase this products after seals service is pathetic ( it's even more worst ) When we are connect to Amazon they are advice us to contact manufacturer yes I did that and what an amazing answer from ALTAC LANSING that they don't have any service center in india, further they have mention that you should read company policy before purchasing this product I have contacted Mr Dean Mr robin from ALTAC but there is no response is been more than 20 days nobody is interested to provide me the solution. I have also contacted several people in the AMAZON shubham, GAUTHAMI and Bhargavi but they all are NOT AT ALL HELPFULL they only talk one thing best way to resolve the problem is to contact manufacturer. Now not Amazon is interested to resolve the problem nor ALTAC LENSING. Totally pathetic AFTER SALE SERVICE it has a worranty but there is a no use of l this.

A very compact and robust bluespeaker .... But the sound quality is not worth the money .... Sound is shaky n noisy on high volume and bass isn't that good... Looking for compact speaker with good bass n cheaper rate then go for portronic sheel which will cost you below 1k .... Looking for water resistant speaker with awesome bass at around the same price then portronic posh is the best choice ...

It's an amazing product from altec lancing. I was first ordering the zaap aqua but then I researched and made my mind for this . It's very amazing. And yes it's sound distort in 100perc volume but keeping the other features of this product it's nothing to worry about alot. But this price point and all the proof item. It's rare in this category. Its very loud and good bass also.And if you want sound clearty go for JBL.just love the product from altec lancing it's one of its find . I suggest for people who have less budget and higher expectations. It's totally worth the cost. It's proper water proof I hv tested it often. For people like me . I m dancer and my use of speakers is very rough so I prefer this than any other Normal speakers who aren't water proof and sock proof. . Go for itt no worries ips67 rating. It's a worth

It's awesome bluetooth wireless speaker. The quality of the speaker is very good. This speaker is waterproof,dustproof and shockproof. This product is very compact. You can put it in a small pocket of bag, pants,etc.The battery life of speaker is good. Once charged full you can listen to music for 5/6 Hours. It also comes with carabiner. It has a AUX port also. Box also contains a charging cable for charging speaker. I use this product sometimes in my bathroom. I love listening to songs while bathing that's why... The people who wants a compact wireless Bluetooth speaker must buy this. There are some other brands also such as JBL. But price of the JBL speakers are little bit high. As per me, I would not like to spend so much money on a wireless Bluetooth speaker. I got this product for ₹1300.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el producto, es de buena calidad y por el precio ofrece excelentes prestaciones. Super portable y ligera y resistente, en cuanto al sonido tiene agudos claros y bajos respetables tomando en cuenta el tamaño del altavoz la conexión es rápida y sin trabas aparte de tener un buen rango de distancia. En cuanto a la batería si queda un poco corta, también dependiendo el volumen al que lo uses en un volumen al 70% te estará dando entre 3 horas y media a 4 horas aproximadamente. Lo único que no me tiene tan contento es que en las imágenes del producto aparece con puerto de 3.5 mm para auxiliar, y mi altavoz sólo presenta el puerto para carga que es de usb micro. Fuera de eso la recomiendo ampliamente!

I got this for Fathers Day gift and my Dad loves it. Safe to there’s no way to get him away from his new Bluetooth speaker. He thinks it’s cool. The volume on it is amazing and it great for a tiny speaker. I would recommend this speaker because of the sound quality and value for your money.

I have 3: 2 for each shower and 1 for my hot tub. It has been dropped in the hot tub several times with no issue and even accidentally stayed out in small shed for whole Northern MB winter and still keeps on going. Highly recommend and have purchased as gift for friends and family. Speakers are the best I've had for bluetooth connectivity.
