Based on taste different buyers would have answered as green pea or chick pea. Buyers who answer question don't manufacture it and hence answer based on their observations. They should not be charged with fooling others, their intention is to help others with answer based on their experience with the product. Your question is similar to "Is whey protein made from cow milk or buffalo milk?". If you buy whey protein and someone asks you that , you can't be charged with the motive of fooling others if you say buffalo milk. There is no way to find out such details, in does not matter also.
