The original tip was softer which I did not like how it felt when writing, and it broke after one week of use with one drop. I've been using this tip for more than a month, drop the pen three times already and it is still writing with no problems. Like the way it feels when writing and must say price is a plus!

Came back to reorder and realized I should do a review. These are SO much cheaper than the name brand and work SO well. I bought these in March 2022 and I'm just starting to use the last one now in June 2023. Keep in mind that I'm pretty hard on my pen tips because I'm constantly doing coloring pages on my Surface.

These tips were just what we needed for a broken surface pro pen. They are easy to set up, easy to insert, and last well. The tip works just as well as the original. Nice to have some backup ones.

I am a math teacher who puts these pens to the true test of constant use and drops as well. These are the best tips I have found so far. I have to remember to turn the tip every couple of days, otherwise holding at the same angle every day, the nib will begin to tilt. Even then, it is as good as the one that came with the pen originally so I will certainly buy more!

The pen tips absolutely worked as advertised. Leaving this review in case anyone is in my situation. My Surface Pen is experiencing a problem that causes it to recognize the pointer but not write, no matter what pen tip is installed. No concrete fixes found but as it has been in use for many years, it may just be at the end of it's usable life.

These are well-made and work just as well as the original manufacturer's tip. They are identical, as far as I can see. I've broken mine a few times (from clumsy five-foot falls, unrelated to product quality, any quality would break as hard as I drop my pen), and each replacement in the pack has been high quality with great precision. I will keep getting this brand as long as I keep dropping my pen and need to replace tips. Wonderful value for someone that needs them frequently.
