M1A
I am using it on M1A and am liking the range of adjustability to really refine your ‘cheek weld’. Being that you can adjust each of the 4 screws independently, and that the kydex has some flex, it does not just move up and down, you can really customize the fitup by creating the angles necessary for your particular structure.

Absolute pain to assemble, but worth it overall
Removing one star because it was an absolute pain to assemble. Worth the money in the end though. Attaching a pic of the installation instructions and the assembled product. Oh, and by the way, it's black and not tan like pictured on the listing. I knew this though from reading other reviews, so I'm happy with the color. For installation, you have to line up the holes on the cheek pad with their corresponding holes on the bottom member and thread the screws through them into the posts. Sounds simple right? Well, little did I know I was in for a wild ride.First of all, the pan head screws were maybe 0.25" long and had an awful time threading into the posts, even without all of the other parts. Before trying to thread them through the other parts, I had to screw and unscrew them into each other to "warm them up" before assembly. Second, the darn holes on the cheek pad and the bottom member didn't line up that well! They were a good 1/8" off from each other, which is a lot considering they're only 1/4" in diameter. Something must be off with the manufacturing process, and this made it very frustrating to assemble. I had to thread the screws in diagonally since the holes were off from each other. Had to retry several times. Not fun.Anyway, once it was finally assembled, it actually fit pretty well onto my M1A Scout Squad. Gave me the cheek rise I needed for my new scout scope. Was able to move the cheek riser forward and backward as needed as well. Stayed in place and didn't get moved at all from my rifle's recoil. Happy with it overall.

very stable
Easy to assemble and installed in just a minute. I put the ATP riser on my M-21 DMR match rifle. With the riser set at its highest position the riser is solid and it comes off quickly to transition to IRON sights. Well worth the $$$ compared to $80 units.

Could have been great.
Basic construction is good. Frame is strong, but heavy. Maybe a strong alloy would be better. The metal frame will scratch my wood stock. I put adhesive backed thin rubber strips between them. Maybe they could put them in spots where the frame will scratch the wood. The Chicago rivets were not mounted and fit loose which means the cheek piece mounting screws just spin and will hardly even start. I think the stock scratching and the spinning Chicago rivets are the real drag.

A little low.
I had to add some foam to the top to get more comb height for my application. Should work ok on a standard stock.

$65 is a little steep for kydex plastic. But ...
$65 is a little steep for kydex plastic. But its .80 thick and flexs hardly at all. It does have a aluminium frame. And if you don't want to drill your stock this might be just the thing. It isn't desert tan, its matte black. A big deal if your trying to match your gear. Also im concerned about their very small screws supplied. We'll see once I mount it on my MAK90/ AK type thumb hole stock. I have a close combat raised scope. So I need the elevation on my cheek weld. I wanted to trick out a MAK with original furniture and some goodies, brake, trigger upgrade, longer radius peep sight (backup) etc.
