Q: How do you know if your espresso machine is ese pod compatible?

The machine info will tell you. These are round pods and go into a piece that is made to use the pods on your machine. Mine has a double pod piece as well for very strong expresso. The are not compatible with with other types of machines.

Q: Will these work in the Keurig Rivo?

Not familiar with Keurig but if uses pods for espresso these Lavazza are Pods that can be used on any machine. The problem is that I would suggest not to buy Lavazza because espresso it's not creamy at all, for us Italian it's a must having creamy espresso. I use Bialetti capsules but if you'd like good pods espresso you should check on Isomac Motta espresso pods, they make smooth creamy espresso. I'm disappointed to Lavazza cause in Italy is one of the best espresso, not these pods...I bought and stuck with 100 of them.

Q: Haw many grams per pod?

The package doesn't say anything regarding your request. I looked very carefully. It contains compressed coffee in a pod that works perfectly in my Cuisinart machine. I am sorry if that doesn't help.
