Samsung Fresh Watch8 40MM BT, Silver

I have had a Samsung Galaxy watch since they first came out. My first one is still going strong, but I needed one that would track my activity in the water, since the majority of my activity is water related. This watch is great for that! It has been in the water with me now almost daily for weeks and works like a charm! I have an app that will automatically set the watch to the water mode, or I can set it myself. It counts each step, stroke and workout moment - and seems to do so accurately. The size is a nice upgrade from the earlier versions, being slightly easier to read. All my apps and information were easily transferred to this new watch, making the transition seamless. It doesn't vibrate quite as strongly as my last one did, so I miss a notification here and there, but since my phone is never more than a few feet away from me, that really isn't an issue. Time will tell if it lasts as long as my first watch did, but I am really so impressed with this watch. To me, it is worth spending the cash to have the added assurance of counting my water activities.

I ordered this watch because my fitbit suddenly stopped working. I honestly was just going to get another fitbit but decided to look around at other options for smart watches. I primarily used my previous watch for tracking my steps, sleep, and golf play time, but the selling point to this watch was the additional apps that I get access to. I use 18 Birdies when I golf and this watch is compatible with that app. I haven't used it yet since I just got it last week, plus it's been raining every day, but I can't wait to test it out. I also go to the gym and listen to Spotify when I'm working out. I can connect my headphones to my watch and listen to music. I'm still learning so much about this watch but so far I love it. I did have to turn off the AOD after I got it because it was draining my battery faster than I wanted it to. The reason I dropped a star is because the battery life is decent but not great. I have to charge it daily, but I do like that when it's fully charged I get an alert on my Samsung phone to prevent overcharging. I'm a very petite woman and ordered the 40mm. I was afraid this might be too big for my tiny wrist but it really isn't. I honestly like the size and don't think it's too big at all. Overall, I'm really liking the watch and would highly recommend it to anyone who may be on the fence about getting one.

If battery life is important to you, this is not your watch! Mine gets about a day and a half before it needs charging. Other than that, the screen quality is great. I have a photo of my dog as my background and it's wonderful quality. I love that the screens are super customizable so it shows only the stuff I really care about. One thing I do miss from the old fitbit is the "sleep" function that turns the screen off so it doesn't accidently wake you up if you toss and turn in the middle of the night. Also, the included instructions in the box are minimal. I had to come to the product description to learn more about the features and how to use it. Overall, I would recommend this watch as long as you're prepared to charge it almost daily.

I'm normally a regular watch wearing person but have been contemplating on getting either an apple watch or samsung to switch things up, I finally switched from apple products to Samsung and decided to go all out with the samsung tech and I couldn't be happier. I love the size , the appearance, battery life is good. I literally have no complaints. I love how sleek and elegant it looks regardless what band you have. I also love all the features it has. Calling, GPS, wifi ,accuracy , notifications and more. Super happy

I really like the Galaxy Watch overall. It looks sleek, feels comfortable, and the tracking features are excellent. The fitness tracking, sleep insights, and heart rate monitoring are all super useful day to day, and the interface is smooth and easy to navigate. That said, for the price, it feels like it should come with a bit more right away. A screen protector would’ve been nice to include, especially since the display is something you naturally want to keep protected. I also wish the band design didn’t rely on tucking the excess strap underneath—it works, but it’s not the most comfortable or convenient setup. The watch itself is great, just feels like a couple small accessories could’ve made the whole experience a lot better from the start.
