As a wedding filmmaker, I’ve lugged around more tiny recorders than I care to admit, but the LARK MAX 2 Combo has officially sent my old Sony TX650s into retirement. These little mics are absurdly compact yet they sound like a full audio crew hiding behind the altar. Crisp vocals, zero faff, and reliable connection all day long. They’ve survived wind, bagpipes, and emotional vows without breaking a sweat.

Amazing awesome product, shame the earbuds does not come with the r transmitter bundle, only gripe is that all 4 transmitters does not go into charging case, other than that another Amazing product from Hollyland

Good sound so far. I like the fact you can clip these inside the collar and not noticeable. I got the 4 pack and not a bad thing it’s just they don’t all go in the charge box only 2 fit

I have a range of Hollyland products from clip on microphones to wireless communications when working with people on set. The fact that I can put four tiny mics on four people discreetly and run a small podcast episode without any hassle is an absolute win! They charge very quickly the run time is three 3 1/2 hours. The case is great and whilst I do wish they had a four-way charging case or at least supply another way to connect up the two mics to charge them the system is really good value for money based upon what you can do with it. I have used the 32 bit float recording function repeatedly and it has saved my bacon. The ability to attach a love mike on the 3.5 mm jack adapter is excellent and again because it's so small I can hide it on people without having to think about shoving it in the pocket. The only problem I've encountered, hence the four stars is the fact that it regularly unpairs from the receiver which means I have to irritating the pair the thing whilst I'm in production making me look a little amateurish whereas with the DJI Mic2's I have work flawlessly every single time. Not sure if it's another software update they need or it's the set I've got but it happens more frequently than I prefer.

The build quality is good, but I couldn’t find any way to adjust the mic’s date and time, I even checked several YouTube videos with no luck. Sometimes it syncs, sometimes it doesn’t. The instruction manual is poorly written, which is unfortunately common with many products made in China.

Great value, build quality and design. Even better Audio Quality and Features I purchased the four mic kit with both USB C and standard receivers. It came with a handy storage pouch, four mics, four wind screens, four USB C to 1/8" adapters (these snap on the bottom of the mics so you can connect a lapel mic), the standard two mic receiver, a USB C receiver, four magnetic mic clips, a spiral 1/8" TRS cable (standard headphone), USB C to USB C, and a USB C to lightning. This mic kit has a great design and build quality. I like that the mics themselves can record internally while you also record to whatever you have the receiver or cell phone USB C adapter hooked to. The recorded audio quality is excellent, it provides rich, clear, and professional-sounding audio with good natural presence. 32-bit float internal recording: This feature provides a huge dynamic range and a safety net against audio clipping or dropouts, making it extremely valuable for post-production.
