Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzer Travel Mini (.14 oz)

This is a 0.1oz product WAY smaller than I thought it would be, plus I ordered a 0.14oz bronzer that (as shown in the picture) would come with a brush and a mirror. Disappointed.

I only bought this because YouTube beauty gurus push it so hard, but I love it. I was concerned that the size would be too small, however I wasn't about to pay out of pocket for the full sized bronzer since I had never tried it before. The mini is actually a lot of product and will last me a good while. I use this and the brush it comes with to add definition to my cheeks. I don't use it around the rest of my face though as I find it a little too orange on my fair+neutral skin tone.A good dupe for this is the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder. I actually use that all around the outside of my face as the color is slightly more taupe.

I opted for the "mini" size just because spending $20 was a lot easier for me to swallow for a product I had never tried before. I also was excited about the fact that it came with a little brush that fit inside the box itself so I wouldn't have to carry around one of my big blush/bronzer brushes in my make up bag and therefore get all my other make up dirty with the remnants left on the brush. The fact of the matter is though that the little box (very small) is just too small to get a good angle with the little brush, so no matter how you try to work it, once you go to apply the bronzer on your face - even if you tap the excess off - it just looks really weird. And the box is so small and confined that i doubt if I dug out my bigger long brush just to give it a whirl it would be able to substantially pick up the product on to the brush in a uniform way either. Basically, the packaging is cute and convenient, the color is decent, but because of how small it is the application process is a nightmare.

I've always loved Benefit bronzers, and this color is the PERFECT non-orange natural tan glow that make it look like you just came back from a tropical vacation. The size of this is PERFECT - who has ever used a Benefit bronzer before it broke in your bag?! These last forever, and so a trial size is perfect for me. It even comes with a mini brush like the large size! Really love this purchase.

I know you will LOVE HOOLA bronzers as much as I do! The regular and light are great together or just solo. I love that they don’t have that crazy shimmery shine, you can add that later with a little hi-lighting powder. This product looks natural and gives you a great natural wash of color and a warm glow as you can see on the 1st photo. Great for every day. You can build the depth for evening wear, as seen in the middle photo. I cannot imagine being without this bronzer/contour powders are a necessity to your collection.

Been using this product for years, it’s perfect. Saved me a trip to Sephora! Which we all know saves you money not having to step foot in there haha.

I stopped sun tanning a few years back, and have been searching for a product that would give me just a bit of that glow- and I have finally found it! I had read a lot on this. been recommended it, but each time thought it was a waste and too expensive for such a little product. Not at all! I love it! I'm not a fan of the brush included, but a big fluffy brush with a dusting of this makes me look like I've spent a week at the beach (without being orange!)

Bought this as a Christmas present for someone but it was so small that it was quite embarrassing to give. Such a high cost for something as small as a matchbox.
