OK they look pretty goofy but no one is going to see it after you install it so who cares. The important thing is THE DAMN THING WORKS! I've tried just about every strap lock system out there over the years from Schaller, Dunlop, Lock-It, D'Addario, the old-school screw-in ones, bread clips, and everything in between. I've had a set of these for about six months now. They've gone through probably 30 rehearsals and half a dozen gigs in that time, and they've performed flawlessly. I use them primarily on my bass (a G&L Tribute Fallout) on a Levy's basic wide leather strap. They stay in place on the strap and don't really ever need to be tightened. I never bothered with the protector pads on the locks, as this guitar has a poly finish and I don't think it'll ever wear on the guitar anyway. These work great for me because they are EASY to put the strap on (and take it off) but it stays in place. It would be easy to swap the strap to other guitars, but mostly I just use it for the bass as it won't fit in the case with the strap attached. The locks are pretty bulletproof, but I think (as others have mentioned) they are just a *bit* on the expensive side. If they were $10 for the set I'd probably have another 4 pairs of them. If they were $15, I'd probably have at least one more set. As it is at $20, I haven't bit on buying another pair yet. But all that said -- they are well engineered and seem that they will last a long time, so I guess you can't sell a product for too little if you're not likely to sell more when they break. Love the product!

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It's lightweight, easy to use, and doesn't require any adjustments to your instrument. It fastens onto a guitar strap easily (and I have a bunch of different style straps, from quite thin to quite thick), and you can take it off and put it on another strap with no trouble. My only concern is with the product's durability because it's made entirely of plastic and rubber. The rubber part, which is the only part that actually touches your instrument, doesn't bother me. However, the rest of the thing--including and especially the part that screws onto the topside of the strap and, you know, KEEPS IT ON THE GUITAR--is made of what looks to be brittle plastic, and that's a bit worrisome. Is this product a good value for your money? To me, yes. But if it were mostly of metal, it would be even much better.

Excellent strap lock. Easy to install on your strap, easy to take on and off but note, these do Not fit some thicker straps. For example, the stud is not long enough to fit through and make contact with the cap on some levy's padded leather straps. It will fit the smaller end of the strap but not the thicker one. Would be awesome if they made one with a slightly longer stud to accommodate.

Better than I expected. Easy to install and strong. It is importantly to note that this PRO version is the new and improved. Some of the older review i read complained about the device marking the guitar and said they used something between the device and the guitar to protect. That is not the case with this new version, nothing extra is required and they don’t mark the guitar. I used to use Dunlops and have also used Shallers. I did not love those because they required replacing the strap buttons and stick out far enough from the guitar that they cause a lot of stress. I had a Dunlop pull out during a show this year and this damaged the guitar. Recently i got two new quite expensive guitars and i did not want to modify them so i tried the rok lok. I was dubious because they looked have plastic and i had never heard of them but they work great and they look quite good. Highly recommend.

Great way to use your favorite strap on all of you guitars without having to modify them.

So I have a couple different guitars and just replaced my strap which I've been using for 15 years or so. The leather on the old one was starting to wear out and the leather on the new one was super stiff and I could barely get it on the button. I got this and installed it and now it's super easy to pop this on and off my other guitars. It clicks into place with a nice satisfying snap and it feels very secure. It's very easy to to take off and switch guitars. Very happy with this.

altho the products does its job I have to say that the price is too much specially for 2 pieces of plastic, I would recommend if you have money to spend or if you need it for a really good guitar like my gibson les paul modern figured and you want to maintain everything original 30 bucks more doens't actually makes so much the diff. judge by the image, I think this is a bit of glue in my guitar due to plastic pads that come with the locks, I would say they really need to improve this pads for not having this kind of issues in the future

Great design and easy install and removal of guitar straps. Works well on large pegs, using on the larger pegs found on PRS guitars and works very well. Quick to add and remove a strap with solid design that looks to be durable over time and use.

Great product, easy to fit and use. I have three guitar straps that have them fitted. One is for a Les Paul, the other a Tel, and one for an Acoustasonic. All fit fine. However, on my Danelectro 59er 12string, the strap button behind the neck is too tight to accommodate a RokLok. So I’d advise checking before you buy.

I’ve fitted these to my Les Paul, so I sincerely hope that they are robust, but they appear to be and no problems with them at all. Fitting literally takes seconds! Note: I have finger tightened them and they’re fine.
