NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Conceal Correct Contour Palette - Light

Medium color worked for me. The makeup wore light and the covered fairly well. Texture is smooth. No fragrance and doesn’t moisturize the face. Overall, a decent product.

I don’t normally wear make up. I got this for a special occasion, but it worked well

This is for light skin tones. I have light/Med and I used to be able to blend two or more colors to make my shade but it doesn’t seem like they used to make it. I like it but not love it.

I'm giving the fair skin tone palette one star and the colorful palette gets four stars. I bought the palette with the different colors like green, purple, yellow, and pink and it was great, I ended using all of the pink. The green is too blue to effectively neutralize redness in my (very pale) skin, but the pink, yellow, and peach were excellent to neutralize purple/ blue dark undereye circles, and even provided decent cover up for red blemishes, so I could apply a regular concealer over the top. I came to Amazon to buy another palette because my makeup store in town was out and found that Nyx had one in skin tones! So I bought the fair palette and I've used it a few times. The consistency difference between the skin tone and the colorful is pretty big. The colorful one is very creamy and applies nicely with a brush or fingertips. The skin tone palette is much less creamy, more dry and difficult to pick up and sheer out with makeup tools. On top of that, I could only use one or two of the colors, so most of the palette just sits wasted drying out even more. I'd stick to the colorful palette and skip the skin tones entirely. At least until they change their formula.

Unfortunately this product didn't work for me at all. The palette I received is creamy but it is hard to apply and is drying on normal skin. The shades didn't really work for me (most yellow tone), maybe some of them would during winter season when my skin is lighter but that's a secondary issue. The product goes into pores and instead of concealing and smoothing skin it has the opposite effect. I tried it around my eyes as well which looked really bad, created very obvious "makeup" look. I got it on clearance, so didn't waste lots of money, but basically will keep to use it only at home on "no makeup" days if I want to look less dead, lol.

I bought this for my daughter for school this year. She's more interested in makeup and learning contouring and at 13 it's a great time to start learning and experimenting with makeup. I went with this shade palette because she has a more pale complexion. And let me say it's not the easiest to find good lighter contour palettes. This is a very good palette for anyone with a lighter complexion. This is cream. Not powder. But that tends to be a personal preference. It's easy to work with. Easy to blend and layer. I've used it a few times also and have been pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. Especially for the price. It's no $90 palette but there have definitely been days where I've preferred this over my more expensive palettes and it's been perfect for my daughter.

I picked up the NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Conceal Correct Palette hoping it would be a versatile solution for covering blemishes and evening out my skin tone. At first glance, the variety of shades seemed promising—I thought it would let me both color-correct and conceal with one product. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. The pigmentation is weak, especially for the correcting shades. I had to layer them on pretty thick just to see any effect, and even then, they didn’t blend well into my skin. The concealer shades aren’t much better—they settle into fine lines and creases within an hour or two, which makes my under-eye area look worse than before. To be fair, the palette is affordable, but you really get what you pay for here. It’s also a bit drying, even when I prepped my skin with moisturizer and primer. For the price, I expected at least one or two shades that worked well, but none of them stood out as particularly useful. If you’re new to makeup or just experimenting, this might work in a pinch, but for anyone with more experience or higher expectations, there are much better options out there. Disappointing overall.
