Does this only work with Macbooks, or can it work with my Surface Pro?

I used it on the 6 surface pro 3's that we have and it works flawlessly!

I know you can only use one output at a time, but if i have both vga & hdmi connected will my imac display options allow me to choose which is live?

Hi Chris, thanks for the inquiry. If you have both port connected, the adapter will put VGA display in priority and it is the only working port when both connecting. Hope this helps. Any further question, please feel free to contact us at support@ugreen.com.cn
