Just received this, 15 hours after ordering which is a great start. Out of the box, what a pleasant surprise, the headset comes with it's own strudy and smart looking carry case - if you ever want to go for a walk with a tilted hand it would be perfect ... otherwise great for safe storage. Set-up in under 5 minutes inclduing updates. Works perfectly, sound quality is excellent and ver clear. My son is a happy chap. Because cables are mentioned in other reviews - it comes with everything you need, USB cable too (which you need to connect to the PS5 to update the headset firmware). Mic quality is also excellent and you can pull it out from the arm if you need to. All round very please with every aspect, from ordering throught to use. I will update in 2-3 months if anything goes wrong but previous vversions £D Pulse, have lasted well so I'n not expecting any problems.

Purchased in January. By May, the headband failed. Exchanged for a new headset. Within a month, the replacement is showing signs of the same issues. Plastic separated at the seams where the inner suspension strap puts tension on the outer frame. Then it snapped completely on both sides. Sony support blamed normal wear and tear, not covered by warranty. Hard to accept after four months, then the same signs on the replacement. Sound quality is excellent. Comfort is good. The headset sounds premium. The frame feels flimsy. Not built to last. Connectivity is also inconsistent on PS5 Pro. The headset does not connect natively and requires the included USB-A PlayStation Link adapter. No USB-C adapter included. On PS5 Pro, that means using a rear USB-A port. My console is within 10 feet, sideways, direct line of sight. The adapter gets hot, then drops connection. Sony support blamed interference and placement. For $150, not acceptable. A first-party Sony headset should work cleanly with Sony’s own PS5 Pro. Native support would be better. A USB-C adapter should also be included, but only as a backup for older consoles or third-party products. 1/5 Build Quality 3/5 Connectivity 4/5 Comfort 5/5 Sound Quality

The perfect headset for playstation 5 great battery life, its comfortable the audio sounds great, the mic could be better to be honest but other then that i would recommend it if you have a ps5 and want a good headset

I just recently upgraded from a PS 4 System to a PS 5. I have ALWAYS purchased Sony Headphones for my gaming system. This set is no disappointment. The clarity and sound is excellent. I would say that you should be careful handling them as I don't feel they are not as sturdy built as the PS 4 version of headphones. Still, a great product with great sound quality.
