Tea Lady Grey Tea, 20 ct

I know Twinings teas well and love them, especially the Lady Grey, so when I saw that Lady Grey was on sale for a remarkable price of $2.99 for a pack of six boxes, each containing 20 bags, I ordered two packs of six boxes with 20 sachets each. Total: $5.98 plus tax, right? Twinings sent only two boxes. Okay. I understand that $2.99 for a box of Twinings Lady Grey is still a bargain, but that was not what I ordered. Yes, it was either a major typo or carelessness on someone's part, but the listing remains up as I type this. I still love Twinings Lady Grey. The black tea with bergamot and citrus notes is top-drawer delicious, but the customer should get what she orders.

I love Lady Grey but I had only ordered this for the nostalgia of the original all blue box. However it does not come in the original box as shown it comes in the yellow and blue box you see in stores.

This is my new favorite black tea! I have always wanted to like Earl Grey, but I have learned that the smell and taste of Bergamont is not my favorite. This one is a great alternative with a rich smooth flavor! Goes great with cream in the morning.

Usually buy this at my local food store but it’s getting hard to find…if they even carry it anymore. Got tired of hunting for it :(

This is my all time favorite tea. I was glad to find it here on Amazon for a reasonable price. I wish I could find it in the grocery store, but alas, I cannot. The delivery came right on time and this tea is the most tasty, delicate yet bold flavored tea that I have ever had. I'm obsessed.

This tea is okay, but I prefer the purple box (U.K.) Earl Grey. I thought I'd like Lady Grey better, as it also has orange and lemon which Earl Grey does not. Both contain citrus bergamot. But it's okay so no big deal other than I didn't get to compare versions. If it matters to you, these tea bags are individually packaged in a box of 20 packets and each has a tag and string. I ordered this Lady Grey tea, shown in a solid blue box, to compare with the Lady Grey tea sold in the gold with blue trim box, and in an effort to get the U.K. version. However, what I received was also in the gold box. After later reading many reviews and Q&As, it seems the LG in the gold with blue box and in the older solid blue box are the U.S. version, but the black box LG is the U.K. version, which is what I wanted. (Earl Grey in the purple box 100-ct is supposedly the U.K. version and tastes better to me than the gold box U.S. grocery store version of Earl Grey.) I'm now going to order the black box 100-ct version of Lady Grey to compare; hopefully that's what I'll actually receive. Apparently the U.S. versions are individually wrapped and have a string and tag, and the U.K. versions are not. Also, apparently the teas do differ. It would be helpful if this info were included in the product descriptions. Edit: I've received the black box Lady Grey tea, and I like it better than this gold box LG. The steeping directions are slightly different, and the black box LG tastes milder, less lemony and with no bitter aftertaste like the gold box LG.

I am not a citrus person but this is really good tea. I don't like the Earl Gray but the Lady Earl Gray is great. Nice light citrus flavor. I will be buying more.

If you are an earl grey fan, do yourself a favor and give this tea a try. I doubt you will be disappointed. Imagine a playful citrus flavor filling your senses followed by a subtle delicious sweetness. This tea takes the best parts of a wonderful earl grey and brings them to a whole new level for a truly glorious experience.

Ce thé noir est assez doux si on ne le laisse pas infuser trop longtemps. Je l'apprécie notamment pour ses notes de bergamote (comme un earl Grey) avec sa note d'agrumes en fond. Je l'ai déjà utilisé avec de l'eau glacée et j'ai trouvé ça vraiment bon aussi. Avec les thés Twinnings on sait que c'est du thé de l'épicerie mais avec une qualité vraiment raisonnable. Les sachets de protection individuels sont utiles et résistants, tout comme le sachet de thé de chaque portion qui ne se déchire pas lors des manipulations. Si vous n'aimez pas ce thé avant de commander, attention à la quantité contenue dans ce lot !

Lovely tea

Nice bright citrus flavour with just a hint of bergamot. Nicer than Earl Grey IMO. Took some into the office and it seems to have caught on. Popular choice for the tea drinking staff.

This has become a yearly purchase for me. My daughter loves this tea and we add this to her Christmas gift every year. It’s not as strong as regular earl grey I don’t think.

Move over regular Twinings Earl Grey Tea! ....... you've just been bumped from 1st place to 2nd. Lol. Love, love, love this Lady Grey tea!!! It is just a cup of joy & deliciousness with every sip! Hands down you will not be disappointed; if you like regular Earl Grey, you'll surely find this one top notch too! Just a little bit lighter in color and taste........Enjoy!!! ;)
