Worked very well for making neck coolers to pass out at the protests. They got fat and stayed cool for people to wear and cool off while out protesting. I have not used this in soil, so I can only attest to the fact that they expand very well and stay that way until they are laid out to dry. The quality is excellent.

This stuff is a must have for window boxes and hanging plants in full sun or windy areas. Crystals absorb the water so your plants can stay watered longer.

A must have for your outdoor potted plants and hanging baskets. Allows me to be gone for 5 days and not come home to drooping plants.

The plants loved them. Was away from home for two weeks and when I got back, not only were the plants still thriving but there was also water left in most of the bottles. I would recommend this to those that travel. One word of caution is to make sure that the holes in the nozzles are open and free of dirt. I used the end of a wooden spoon to make the initial hole and let the nozzle and water do the rest. Again, excellent.

I use this when I plant things in my border after the temps warm up. We don’t get rain after May till Fall and this is very helpful. A little goes a long way. I put some in bucket and fill with some water. Then I use a handful in the planting hole. It keeps roots damp While rooting
