Infant Formula, Amino Acid Based, with Iron, 14.1 oz

I bought this for a family member. Her baby was a premie and no other formula was tolerated well in his little tummy. When this worked we all just bought her a few cans.

Our pediatric GI doctor recommended this formula. It’s been the only formula that has helped my baby with throwing up. After lots of testing and trial and error with other formulas this has helped his dairy allergy. It’s expensive, but it’s the only thing that has worked for us.

this is the only formula my baby can take. she has a CMPA allergy and cannot take any other formula. it’s working great! been on it for almost 2 months!

Mi nieta fue diagnosticada con alergia a la proteína de la leche de vaca y esta fórmula fue recomendada por su pediatra. Después de probar otras opciones sin éxito, Alfamino fue la única que realmente ayudó. Desde que la empezamos a usar, se redujeron los cólicos, el reflujo y las erupciones en la piel. Aunque el sabor no le gustó mucho al principio, en pocos días ya la aceptaba sin problema. La fórmula se disuelve bien, aunque a veces hay que agitarla bien para evitar residuos. También noté que las deposiciones cambiaron (verdes y menos frecuentes), pero el doctor me dijo que era normal por el contenido de hierro. Sí, es costosa, pero en nuestro caso ha valido completamente la pena. Si tu bebé tiene alergias alimentarias graves, esta fórmula puede marcar la diferencia. ¡Totalmente recomendada!

Received this hard to find formula the very next morning. Very pleased with this purchase.

I hate to do this because the product it’s self isn’t bad per se, it definitely constipates my baby. However the biggest issue I have is the state of which the cans are in when they arrive! For the last 3 shipments the cans are severely damaged. This last time my cans were dented , then the replacement cans were even more damaged than the original! I’ve made complaints multiple times that they need to not ship these is brown paper bags however they continue to do so. It’s very challenging to buy this formula anywhere else. Quality control truly should address the shipping container choice because it’s hindering product satisfaction. Per my pediatrician we were advised never to use a dented can, therefore we’ve lost easily hundreds of dollars and I’ve had to resort to emergency stops at the pediatrician for sample cans to tide us over!

Purchased for a family member who required this hypoallergenic formula for young premie to help gain weight. Worked well. He is a sweet chunk now!
