This thing fit 100% on my Tikka T3X. Literally takes 2-3 minutes. Just slip a Phillips head through the tiny holes on the original and unscrew. Then screw the same screws back into the stock with the new Limbsaver.

An absolute must buy for virtually any rifle. This recoil bad is significantly better than the factory Tikka pad. It is much softer and grippier than the factory. Feels much better on the shoulder than any factory pad I have felt. The fit and finish is excellent. Feels like it is made of quality materials. I will be purchasing one for all of my firearms. Well done Limbsaver!

Definitely seemed like an upgrade over stock padding. It is thicker so it may alter your eye relief slightly in my opinion. Overall think it will help

The factory recoil pad on the Tikka T3X rifle is one of its weak points and was likely used to help keep costs down. It only offers about an 1/8” of real recoil absorbing material. The Limb Saver Airtech offers about 1” of soft material. This translates into a huge reduction in felt recoil, allowing you to enjoy shooting your rifle for much longer. Installation is very simple. Remove two Phillips head screws from your factory recoil pad and install the Limb Saver using the same screws. Simple. My only complaint about this recoil pad is its fitment. The original pad has lip on its butt plate allowing it to fit precisely into synthetic stocks for a snug fit. The Limb Saver only makes contact with the edge of the stock because it doesn’t have the lip on its butt plate, it’s just a flat plate. This means the only thing holding it in place is the tightness of the screws. For a more secure fit, you would have to place something in the end of the stock, perhaps a 3D printed plate, so the Limb Saver has a better platform to mount it on. This is a poor, lazy design.

Shooting .308 WIN with my Tikka T3x kicks like a train enough as it is with this awesome pad, I can't imagine using the factory pad.

Easy install, does as advertised. No sore shoulder after a day at the range with my Tikka. Love this product.
