This is a versatile tool for the studio setup. You open up more floor space for more creative ideas. Have used this unit to mount;Camera for overhead and side shots (you can put camera at the furthest part of the room for maximum view),Microphone for quick swinging between workbenchesUse as a jib/crane or panning shotsConnect gimbal and have absolutely gorgeous takes.The unit is really sturdy and I am not at all fearful my equipment will come tumbling down as long as I have all the lengths locked.

Tips for saving space. Secured to the wall with four expansion screws, everyone should think carefully about this. You need to make right holes on the wall first, and this screw is very difficult to remove once it's in place... so there is absolutely no need to worry about its stability. This wall-mounted boom is one of things I have to buy because of my personal space saving needs.

I absolutely love the fact that there is no longer a light stand to step around. Installation was straightforward (4 wood screws in a wall stud). Its easy to adjust positions and has no problem holding a 4 lb. video light with a 36" hexadecagon softbox. All in all 5 stars.Only suggestion for Neewer would be that if they aren't going to include assembly instructions with their products, maybe a quick YouTube video showing someone assembling the equipment would be helpful. I've heard of more than a few people who didn't want the hassle of it figuring out on their own and returned the item instead.

For starters, the reason this is a 4 star is because it does not go flush in any of the directions. Not vertical or horizontal can you place this completely against the wall/ceiling when not in use. For me, aesthetically and functionally it makes me want to find a replacement for this! As I am going to use this for many reasons but all of them would need a flush Mount against the wall. I think I may attempt to find extensions for the bolts that attach this to the plate and that may allow for the flush operation/clean up.Ok the good! This is extremely sturdy and easy to set up. It comes with four anchors, I prefer lag bolts but I had them already at home no biggie.I would recommend this to everyone that plans for this to be on display at all times. If you want to rotate it out of the way when not in use, keep in mind it will not sit flush! But great product so far with more flexibility at the device connection point than I expected.

I love this product. It was one of the strongest, sturdier items I purchased for mounting equipment to the wall or ceiling for flexible use.

I need to punch holes in the wall, which makes me hesitate. But since I have made this purchase decision, I am willing to give it a try. Someone with experience helped me, but the next steps were simple. This wall-mounted boom is ideal for supporting softboxes and saving more space.

The Neewer Triangle mount boom arm I received has scratches all over it that were PAINTED with black touch up paint. I have photos and can see the brush strokes and everything. Would be nice to receive a new product, not a USED product...especially when I paid almost $100 for this thing. So that's really annoying.OTHER than that, this would be a good product. My business has 7 of these and has had no problems with the structure or mechanical aspect at all. Have had them about a week now.

Amazing product, a game changer for content creators, I love this as it allows me to put my cameras and lights where I want to, and they actually stay in place, as it is very robust and well built. On top of it it's very easy to use and very discreet when folded in, which means you can have it in any room.I just love it, and will surely buy more once I upgrade my studio again.

Great purchase. Super sturdy, I have a 18 inch ring light attached to it and even when the boom arm is fully extended it’s very solid. No issues so far and I’ve been using it daily for the past 4-5 months
