Mace Ergo Stun Gun with LED

I assume this is worth 5 stars but I have never used it on anyone to know the degree of effectiveness. I carry it when I go out for a stroll with my walker. As a senior citizen I just feel safer carrying defense; I also carry a nice big vial of pepper spray. If I go down, it'll be spraying and zapping. Also may work on loose dogs. So far I have never used either the pepper spray or zapper. What I LIKE: It plugs in easy to the wall socket for recharging. The plug-prongs retract after removing from wall so not in the way. It stays charged for a long time but I don't know exactly how long-a few weeks is my guess. I charge it about every 2 weeks; when I charge it, it is still loaded and has not exhausted its spark. I fire it to make sure it is alive, it crackles and a very short streak of lightning comes out. I keep it on my nightstand when not on a walk along with the pepper spray. When walking alone and I hear one of those many 'funny' noises in the evening, I place one device in each hand and still guide the walker, really ready if something happens, rather than fishing for the devices after-the-fact. Writing this makes me see how defensive I am. What I DO NOT LIKE: Made in China.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m giving this five starts because it’s quality is amazing but I haven’t gotten the change to taze anyone yet:((( but I love it Value for money: Its good value for the money Build quality: It’s better Than the last one I had Safety: It has a case which is nice and then a button to switch it on so it won’t go off on ‘accident’ unless it is on Grip: My hand can grip it tightly and it fits perfect and comfortably and no matter which hand you have it on the power buttons will always be on your middle finger to taze someone

I like that it’s easy to use! The only thing bugging me is the info I read said the charging lite is red until fully charged then turns green! Well I had one plugged in charging for all day and overnight….. still red! So I returned it, got another and it’s doing the same thing!! So maybe it wasn’t malfunctioning after all??? Anyone know ???

I bought 2 of these after I didn't feel safe. I have not gotten to use it yet( hopefully never have too) I had someone use it on me so I knew the strength of it and how long it should be used and it is very powerful inalmost passed out. I feel safe having one at home and one in my purse.
