Great value for the money. I bought a used one, but it would have been a good value at full price. My belts feel and look so much better, now that I can adjust them to my needs

It is possible to turn the cutters. They are just pressed in tightly. Grip tight with pliers near the base of the barrel to avoid damaging the cutter end. I used vice grips which have a fairly aggressive bite. They hardly left a mark but it did take a good squeeze to do it. When cutting a hole through a leather belt it also takes a forceful squeeze to cut all the way through. It did leave a small oval mark on the anvil but they give you an extra if you use it A LOT. Makes a perfect clean hole! Why some barrels are set 90 degrees the wrong way for cutting a hole in a belt, I have no clue. They need a better rod to punch out the leather slug. A framing nail with the point filed flat would work. I'm glad I bought this!

Good product

Easy to use, worth the price for even just one use. I've used these on my belts my kids belts and even my handbags that have adjustable straps. I recommend getting this one as it has a variety of hole shapes and to keep your leather items looking neat and professional instead of boring a hole in your belt with a screwdriver or a knife. Use the ruler that it comes with and pen/pencil to clearly mark the next hole (usually an inch apart, center it as well on both sides and punch it like a paper hole puncher! Done!

This thing is great. I used to waste a lot of time making belt holes with an awl. With this hole puncher it takes 30 seconds. It takes very little hand pressure and the holes are clean. And it takes just seconds to use the grinding rod to remove the punched-out pieces of belt from the hole-makers. For such a useful device, and such high quality, I would have expected to pay twice as much.

My wife and I have been doing keto, so both of our belts needed taking in (60 pounds and counting for me, plus my blood sugar has dropped significantly, to the consternation of my doctor).I dialed up the small or medium size punch tips for my wife's belts and the large size for mine. My belt is full grain cowhide and this thing punched it without issue. For what it is, it works great, delivery was quick, and the price was right.Recommended.

You cannot always find belt that just fit you. This tool is convenient to make your desired hole yourself. For women, it is just a bit hard to punch hole on leather. It is better to ask a man for help.
