It’s great. For the price, I got WAY more than I had hoped.
I don’t really know what I can say about it. It is definitely worth the price, and then some. Marbles makes great machetes. But, I’ve always been partial to (shhh... the competition.. shh!) LOL. My machete has been sans sheath for quite awhile. This one was just the right length, so I figured I’d give it a try.Super awesome! Because of the style of machete it’s meant to hold, you have to slide the blade in at a wonky angle. There are two Velcro straps on one side. You pulls those open, and that side of the sheath is split open from the top, about 6 inches down. This allows you to slide the fatter tip of a Latin Machete, or “Bush” machete as they’re sometimes called, into the sheath first, then straighten it and push the rest in, without cutting the sheath up.I can be a bit thick, and didn’t realize this when I crammed it in the first time. Despite my stupidity, the sheath took it like a champ, and is still kicking, not a hint of damage. That’s says a lot. It’s designed well, thicker than you’d expect, so there is room between the top half and bottom half of the sheath, so when you inevitably do angle it in a bit off, your not going to cut the sheath in half.Nylon. I’m a huge fan. It’s stitched and riveted. So, it can take some abuse. I like the fact that, if I did happen to force the blade in wrong, or pull it out at a weird angle, and cut the sheath, even I, being all thumbs, could easily make on the trail repairs with a sail needle and some tough thread. But, it’s so well made, you’d really have to work at to screw it up. Trust me, it’s tough. There are two pouches on the front of the sheath. The one I received had a sharpening stone in one of the pouches. I know a lot of people are into the “Altoids survival tins,” but they aren’t quite big enough for an altoids tin. They are just big enough to hold those generic, crappy, hardware store oil/whetstones, the kind that fit in your hand perfectly, without any part of the stone extending past your palm. The stone it came with is EXTREMELY rough, and frankly, that’s awesome. And I mean ROUGH. Think along the lines of a really rough fingernail file, or sandpaper. The hardware store stones used to be rough like that, but now they’re pretty useless. It’s a cheap stone, meant to cut fast. You’re not looking to shave arm hair. It’s a machete, and the stone is perfect for that. You don’t have to use water or oil, but it will keep the stone from clogging up. I use a little mineral oil, works great. One more thing about the pouches. They are a SNUG fit. They hold those generic stones perfectly, but there is no extra room to play with. So, if you don’t want your stone shredding the nylon, I’ve found that putting a couple layers of an ordinary plastic bag around the stones, like you bag your groceries in, protects the nylon, and when the plastic starts to tatter, it’s just a grocery bag, so easy to replace. There are a lot of great sheath options out there. But this one is seriously all you need. If you want to spend a hundred bucks on a custom kydex, or leather, knock yourself out. But, me.... I’m saving myself the expense of kydex, and the maintenance hassle of leather, protecting my machete, and taking care of any repairs myself, which I’m sure will be years down the road. It’s tough!

Makes a good wand holster
I was looking for a wand holster that is lightweight, durable, and budget friendly. And this machete sheath fits the bill! It fits my 15 inch wand and it could fit 2 wands inside. For a trip to Universal, you could fit both your interactive and non interactive wands without fearing of loosing them anymore. For under 20$ it sure is worth it 👌

Just be careful with different blades
This product is well made. It's built with firm padding that looks and feels like it will last a long time. The two pockets and sharpening stone is a plus. This machete sheath has two velcro straps at the entry point on top closer to the the blade side of your machete to accommodate different shaped machetes. I have 3 that have varied sizes which this sheath holds well. Just be careful when re-inserting your sharp blade, especially if has a wide point which requires you to adjust the two velcro straps. If you suddenly switch to a wider tipped blade, you'll slice right through them. And make it a habit of not holding the sheath with the other hand when inserting your machete because it will move upward on wider blades and possibly slice through your thumb area. I'll just get another sheath to accommodate my larger blade so I don't forget to adjust it. I think it's worth it rather than continuing to re-adjust it.

Darn Good Sheath!
I recently purchased a 21 inch sturdy machete with an 18 inch blade. The only issue was the sheath was crappie. I looked here and there, and I found this sheath. The size was right and the material looked sturdy. I liked the fact that it can open on one side with Velcro fasteners to accommodate larger blades. It arrived in a timely manner and the packaging was good. It is a very sturdy sheath that fits well on my tactical belt. It does have a decent sharpening stone and a pouch for an extra. There is no fastener for the blade, but I haven't had any issues with my machete falling out and chopping off my foot. For the price and construction, I think it is a darn good buy.

Just got it.
Fits Fiskars 18" double-edged machete well. Seems well-crafted but I can't speak to durability since I just got it. I like the whetstone, the additional pocket, velcro straps, and big belt loop.

It's just what you see
I really like this sheath because it's Exactly what you see in the pics. The addition of the sharpening stone makes it a better value. It fits my USGI manchette perfectly and also fits my belts as well. GOD Bless all.

Heavy Duty
Pun intended. It's thick, weighty, and made to last a lifetime under normal wear & tear. You won't find a better design or construction in a Machete sheath. Yet, the Neoprene GI scabbard comes close.A bit thick for sliding aside a Tac Pack, so figure out a mounting system since there are no MOLLE straps or PALS on the backside. It's intended as belt-hang only. The accessory pouches are useful for the included grind stone, yet likely unnecessary for most operators. Engineering is A1 - minus the need for alternate carry options.
