True & Tidy Pro Commercial Garment Steamer, Gray

This might well be an excellent steamer but i bought it on amazon.co.uk but it is designed for the North American electric system and would need a convertor which is a sustanial cost so i am returning however i have to send it back to USA at my own expense this needs to be made way clearere on the website.

The product itself is well-made and looks great—no complaints about the quality or appearance. But as much as I wanted it to work, the whole concept of steaming instead of traditional ironing just doesn’t do the job for me. It might work for others, but personally, I didn’t find it effective enough.

I didn’t know what to expect from this purchase, but I was really surprised at how easy I was able to remove the wrinkles from my clothing. When I first plugged it in, I didn’t think there was much steam coming out because it was so quiet. My old one was really noisy, a lot of steam would come out, wet the clothes and spurt water. A noisy steamer is not a good steamer I guess. This one really surprised me, as even though the steam was not as visible as my old one, it was actually a stronger and hotter steam that removed wrinkles really fast.It takes a little bit longer to heat up than what is advertised, but not for much but when it does, you could continue to steam clothes for a while because the reservoir is big and holds a good amount of water. It is very easy to move around. It has wheels it is easy to drain. It is tall so it’s nice as the hose would not bend affecting the flow. So far, I’m happy with this purchase and I hope it lasts a while.

I followed the instructions in the booklet to the letter, and after assembling it as instructed, it simply wouldn't turn on. Do not recommend at all.

It works perfectly. Wish I got it earlier, like a few years back. It helps to keep garments wrinkle free. I would highly recommend this steamer.
