Great Product and great support
Initial impressions was cool. The glasses felt premium and it was cool to see a huge screen in front of you. Functionality wise, I used it mostly to watch movies streamed from my ipad. It’s nice to be able to lie back and enjoy a movie. A little like a black mirror episode :). These things work great on a plane; no more worrying about how to position or hold the iPad. The FOV is good, but don’t expect it to be like a VR goggle. You can still see things from the sides and below. The audio was pretty good, but you also have the ipad/iphone output the audio to your choice of headphones as well. The frames themselves can be adjusted a little which was cool. The weight of the glass was not noticeable, even after several hours of use. They do get a little warm, but not uncomfortable. The case it comes with is nice, but doesn’t really have room for the connection cable. You can squeeze it in there, but it’s a task and I worry about scratching up the lenses. Comparing against VR, these are just a different beast. They work as a secondary display to whatever you are connected to rather than VR being a whole new machine. This means that whatever games/movies/controls you are used to work with this device. Its small form factor makes it highly portable. The tradeoff is that the experience is less immersive; the outside world is still there. Overall, it is expensive but a premium product. Less immersive than VR goggles, but way more accessible/easy to use. I see myself using these much more than my VR glasses since it is just a matter of plugging it in and ready to go. After a few uses the screen did flicker once or twice, but hasn’t done it since. I wrote that off. Unfortunately, I noticed a dead pixel so am working with them to exchange it. Hopefully, it isn’t a painful process. Updated rating: The exchange process has been smooth so far. The seller has been very responsive. Return label was generated quickly and now waiting on the new pair. After a few weeks: These glasses are awesome. I’ve shown 4 friends and 3 of them went out and bought one. Really enjoying them. Quick Tip: adjusting your IPD helps a lot if you run into blurriness issues on the sides. There are free IPD measuring apps and you can configure it on the XReal glasses. Updates review. It has now been over a month with these glasses and I am still super impressed. For work, I get a huge screen and privacy on the go. Easily connects to my laptop and I can code on them for several hours without any fatigue. For gaming, playing BF6 has been awesome. When I need to unwind, I’ll connect it to my Nintendo Switch and play some BoTW. I honestly use these every day.

WOW!!!!!
These are absolutely incredible. This company is amazing. I have the first-gen glasses under the name Nreal. And after a couple years passed, I actually purchased these ones as well. The reason being is that, instead of needing new technology, they got a firmware upgrade and had great quality of life changes. The biggest one being that you can have 3D on anything you plug into the glasses - old pictures, videos, gaming, everything. It's an amazing depth perception. You could live without it, but it's here and it's applicable, and it's not glitchy, so it's amazing. The other features that are amazing are making an ultra-wide screen, so you could look back and forth. You could leave a screen in a certain room and walk away and come back to it, or you could have it follow your head, so you can tilt it and it'll still be straight. But it works amazing. The transition glasses are awesome because it makes it absolutely dark enough whenever you need it. And it's just a really good buy. This is a good pair. There are other glasses out there, but this company is the OG, and they perfected it.

Multi Media Swiss army knife
At first I didn't know what I was looking at but once my eyes adjusted I could appreciate the capabilities of the glasses. You really have to play around with all the settings like, screen size, distance, anchor vs follow mode to see what works for you. I personally like anchor mode with a larger than life screen for a semi immersive experience. It also helps having larger text and being able to pan your head to focus on different parts of your desktop. I like that I can use it as a spare monitor for my work laptop when I'm on the road or with my Samsung in DeX mode for a very Portable desktop like experience. I love the fact that they're still pushing updates to it. The AI 3D mode is subtle but nice to play around with. The updates give me confidence that they'll support this product and that they're the real deal. It also keeps my FOMO at bay lol

Warning on buying! Make sure you have the right cable to use
I will change this review when I buy the stupid thunderbolt cable. APPARENTLY YOU NEED A THUNDERBOLT TYPE C cable to use this thing AND IT DOESNT COME WITH IT. So I just have glasses that don't connect on any regular type c cable. I will have to drive to best buy, buy the cable and then write my review. So for now, this aggravating decision to lock me out of the product I just purchased will be 1 star. I also bought the hub and the beam and none of these connect with this device.

Looks dumb, works great
Yeah nothing about these looks 'cool' on your face. They sit a couple inches away from your eyes but dang do they work well! The adjustments you can make are great between a fixed position, follow, wide-screen, and mini screen off to the side. and I like them better than the meta glasses I have. Also bought some cheap oversees brand and this is by far the best value. No issues with connecting to my macbook, my steamdeck, or my iphone. Playing games on my steam deck at night or watching a movie on my phone is great. They also have built in speakers on the stocks with pretty decent sound quality. You can adjust the brightness, you can adjust the transparency of the display, the readability is good (I play a lot of RPGs with text) and they're working flawlessly after several months. I'm a big fan of xreal. My only complaint is now they have a newer model that's more affordable and has better features.

Overpromise and underdeliver - not ready for primetime just yet
The idea is great. Execution, not so much. Build quality is good compare to competitors and screen anchoring works really well. That's where the good news stops. Constant disconnects with multiple Samsung devices. Could not connect to its AR software. Also could not upgrade the firmware no matter which machine and/or browser I tried. Not having an app officially under Google Pay store also seems a little iffy for a Chinese company and all. At this price point, it is just a very expensive toy that works half the time. Good idea, just needs some more time to polish.

quality
couldn’t be happier with these AR glasses! The visuals are stunning—crisp, bright, and feel like having a giant screen right in front of me. The Bose audio is a game-changer; movies and games sound incredible without needing extra headphones. They’re super lightweight and comfortable, so I can wear them for hours without any strain. Setup was easy, and I love how versatile they are—works with my phone, laptop, and even my gaming handheld. The electrochromic dimming feature is brilliant for switching between bright and dark environments. It honestly feels futuristic! If you want a portable cinematic experience and a productivity boost, this is it. Worth every penny—I’m beyond happy with this purchase!

Great for showcase, bad for everyday use
Coming from a virtual reality enthusiast, it is not prime time for these “display glasses”. FOV way too low, not able to view comfortably. Also incompatible with a lot devices that I intended to use. Requires too much workaround. These are a gimmick at best, a headache for ordinary people. I had a first gen product from this company and I must give credits where credits is due, the stabilization of this glasses is incredible, no jitter or tearing at all, like there’s a display floating in front of you, but that’s all the improvement it has. The FOV really is a huge deal breaker for me, the screen is constantly being cut off from side to side or top and bottom, very unnatural and definitely needs to be improved. It is a limitation to current optics system technology, perhaps the next generation would satisfy me and the masses. For now, if you like cutting edge technology and like to tinker with tech, this is for you.

Does the job
I put these on while washing my dishes. Also used it to watch a movie while laying on my bed. Pretty good/10 You can download the "sunshine" and "moonlight" on your computer and phone respectively, then you can stream whatever is on the computer to the glasses. Also, you can open the phone camera and see it on the glasses. Pretty useful if you want to see what is on top of the cabinet without getting a ladder. They do look kinda ugly though. Too forward on your face. Also I don't like the 2 lenses setup, but I guess that's the technology's limitation.

Gute Brille

Li consiglio a chiunque.

Product needs lots of polishing.
My experience with these VR glasses wasn’t great. I sent it back as I believe this version is not yet ready for my expectations. The sound quality was poor and the reflection too intrusive. The case was not suitable for this type of product. The interface (buttons) was confusing. Maybe in a year or three technology would have moved on to the point where I would consider these type of AR glasses again.
