Solid Cable, But Noticeable Drag on Gimbal
The build quality on this SMALLRIG coiled HDMI cable is solid. It feels durable, the connectors fit snug, and it handles 4K without any signal issues in my setup. That said, I’m using it on a Ronin RS4 Mini and even though it’s coiled, it still creates more drag than I expected. When the gimbal makes certain movements, you can feel the tension from the cable pulling slightly. It’s manageable, but if you’re running a lightweight gimbal setup, it’s something to be aware of. For static rigs or heavier setups, this would probably be perfect. For ultra lightweight gimbal builds, just plan your cable routing carefully. Overall, still a good quality cable, just not ideal for every gimbal scenario.

Good but not great unless you need something really short
Not long enough when recoiled. Description shows it stretches to 47 inches but I seriously doubt that. Otherwise it works. It’s just a bit too stiff and short for my best use case. Flexible TPU+PVC construction stretches to 47 inches (120 cm) and retracts neatly,

Coiled cable, longer than typical alternatives
Got is for my macro photography setup, where camera is far from the monitor which is mounted on tripod base. Had 24'' cable before, but this cable is longer and reaches the camera well. The cable itself is well made. It is thinner and more flexible than typical non-coiled HDMI cables, but passes through the video signal in high quality.
