Worked well
It arrived a little after the expected delivery date. But the seller sent a message ahead of time that it is possible to happen. But offered help if it was necessary. It was packed safely and well. The item worked well on dark blonde hair.

I've been using this brand since the start of 2020. It is easy to use and my hair looks great and healthy. I follow the directions exactly and it covers my gray, which is my main goal. It also brings out the shine in my hair. It's easy to use. It comes with gloves inside the instruction manual, pre-conditioner, and post conditioner. BTW, I use a bit of the post conditioner after washing out all the color, then I keep using a bit of it over the next few weeks. If they sold the post conditioner on it's own I'd absolutely buy it. It is wonderful and really makes my hair soft and lovely. I use 8.5A Champagne Blonde.

L'Oréal Paris Excellence Créme Permanent Hair Color, 9A Light Ash Blonde You must know that hair color companies said their products would lighten hair 2 shades lighter and it's still true. If you have brown hair you are absolutely not going to be a blond, unless you bleach your hair first, then use a toner to get a good color. If you just bleach it your hair will be brassy and look awful. I've been coloring my hair since i was 17 and used to do the two part process (BLEACH THEN TONER(COLOR) By the time your finished with the stupid instructions you end up with all your hair covered the same way as I do when I just use regular L'Oreal olor. I mixed the light ash blond with a 10 blond because I don't like my hair too yellow blond. IT WAS STILL TOO YELLOW FOR ME. So I purchased some WELLA toner from Walmart, used one ounce of "toner", it used to be called DRABBER, 2 OUNCES OF LOreal developer and 2 ounces of water and PUT IT ON MY DRY HAIR - yes that woks!. My hair now looks great. Just like it does when I use regular L'Oreal hair color. You would be better off buying a hair color BOTTLE APPLICATOR. (Sally's sells them) and then you can use the tip of the bottle (instead of a comb) to part and apply the color on the back of your head. Start with the back first because it's darker. When I see the paint brushes in the salons it's a joke to impress you about what arttists they are, UNLESS IT'S AN EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE SALON. To get my hair lighter I cover the entire back of my head, not where it's blond. Leave it on 35 to 50 minutes and then put the color on the front where it's light already. Any beautician will tell you what I'm doing is wrong. It may be wrong for them but they haven't seen my hair. WARNING: IF YOUR HAIR IS WAY TO DRY YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T BE COLORING IT. USE A TEMP. COLOR, IT'S EASIER ON THE HAIR. Salon Selectives conditioner works better than the tube that comes in the box or L'Oreal product in a tube that you can buy in Sally's. Consumer Reports rated shampoo years ago and Salon Selectives was at the top. My husband really likes it too. The one in the gold color bottle. I've received many complements over the years about the color of my hair. I use 1 oz ash blond 8? and 2 oz. of 9A light ash blond and 3 oz. of developer. I always say "it's L'oreal", except when we lived over seas and i was in an expensive salon for a hair cut, didn't want to say anything except thank you.because Troy gave the best hair cut I could ever find.

Product itself: 5 stars. I lov e Excellence. It's a very conditioning color and gives the most natural looking results I've seen in a home color (eh, from non high-end salons too). It's gentle, easy to apply/comb through, etc. Might take a few applications to get to the right shade, but that's because it's not aggressive (that's what makes it look so natural. There is no darker overlap line when you do just the roots, your hair is not fried, and the cost is more than decent if you have to buy 2 for longer hair. Definitely what i recommend for fragile, processed, porous, brittle, or very fine hair. Now, because it doesn't seem to eat through your hair, it does weigh it down a bit. I like that for me, but some may not. Also, don't worry if it comes out too vibrant - it calms down after one shampoo. If it calms down too much, move up a shade. I find it responds well to the sun too - highlights that look pretty natural instead of flat uniform color. Sometimes it smells really, really strong, other times not so much. Ventilate as you apply anyway. Either way, the scent left in the hair is particular as with any color but not entirely unpleasant. Better than many and only lasts still you wash again. Oh, and the blonds and reds do NOT stain skin (or even clothes). BIIIIIG PLUS. Don't know about dark shades though. I recently rated this lower due to a problem with the seller, but I mixed them up with another - this seller sold me great stuff. No problem there.
