My family absolutely loves this game. We’re the kind of family that usually ends up arguing over Monopoly, to the point where even suggesting it makes everyone want to rip their hair out, but CATAN has been a completely different experience. It definitely takes a game or two to properly get the hang of it and understand the strategy, but once it clicks, you’re fully into it and competing to conquer the whole board. The quality of the game itself is amazing too — the board and pieces are beautifully made with a nice variety of colours, feel really sturdy, and everything is easy to assemble and set up. A brilliant game for family game nights, especially if you want something competitive and strategic without the Monopoly-level chaos.

A typical session takes about an hour, which makes it perfect for an evening game without feeling too long. Catan is designed for three to four players. There is also a separate expansion that allows you to play with five or six players which works very well and keeps the experience just as enjoyable. Overall, Catan is a fantastic entry point into modern board gaming. It offers a satisfying mix of luck and strategy, strong replay value, and a level of social interaction that makes every session memorable. Catan is the gateway game for more serious table-top games. The game itself is unparalleled and this version is brilliant, with everything polished and easy to set up. It came in perfect condition and we've since had hours of fun with my family. If you want something a little more in-depth than Monopoly or Scrabble, this is a great way to start.

Very great seller, mint condition board game packed very well - not a single imperfection on the box with the beautiful artwork. Easy to understand and play for first timers. Your first game will be slow but easy to understand afterwards. Expect 3 hours of non stop fun, bargaining for important resources, forming alliances and building your kingdom

Intresting game but not fully my cup of tea. Well made. I like the quality of cards and elements. Definitely needs larger group of players. Not difficult to understand rules. I recommend for family and friends game time.

I’m not really a big board game person, but CATAN was the first one I actually enjoyed, which is exactly why I bought it. The first time I played was with friends while staying in a cottage in Wales, and what started as let’s try one game turned into us playing for hours without even realising it. It’s surprisingly addictive, with lots of negotiating, laughing, and the occasional friendly argument when someone steals your resources. Assembly was easy and straightforward, and everything made sense once it was laid out. The game itself is not too difficult to pick up, even for beginners. The rules are simple enough to learn quickly, but there’s plenty of strategy to keep it interesting the more you play. Packaging and shipping were fine, nothing out of the ordinary, and everything arrived in good condition. Overall, it’s a great game to play with friends, especially on trips or long evenings when you want something social and competitive without being too complicated. If this is my entry point into board games, I finally get the hype.

Perfect game, perfect quality

This was the 6th edition. The cards are not the same as my 5th edition. Apart from that it's great and goes well with my 6th edition of city and knights.

Intéressant comme jeu d'expansion. J'airais dû attendre encore une semaine afin de profiter du rabais de 24%. Bref, je suis satisfait de mon achat. Il ne me reste qu'à jouer avec d'autres joueurs de Catan.
