Easy starter FPV
Exactly what I was hoping it would be, a small inexpensive look into FPV. i wanted it indoors, easily maneuverable, didn't need long battery life, or long distance gain. This model hit all four criteria. i have experience flying larger drones, helicopters, and airplanes but this kit met my specific needs for this experiment. It is fun to fly with or without FPV, easy to fly and decent goggles for FPV.

Amazing beginner FPV drone.
Definitely worth the price it’s at 100% if you’re looking for a cheap beginner FPV drone that you don’t have to worry about breaking the next day, because you have no experience in drones (like myself). Not to mention they do give you extra parts (including 3 extra batteries and a charger that charges all 3 at once) most FPV drones are $100’s if not $1000’s. Camera quality is what you would expect for a beginner drone, nothing worth $1000 of course, it gives me the vibes of a VHS Quality which gives big nostalgia if you grew up around VHS tapes. All in all I give this Drone an easy 9.5/10, the .5 would be the battery. It’s kinda hard to take in and out but it does make it more secure so just remember try not to pull by the wires! :)

Awesome in theory but poorly made
When it worked it was great, my son loved it. Unfortunately the initial and replacement both seemed to be used and not new products. The first had a broken charging port right out of the box and it could only be charged for 1 day, after that the port fell into the drone. The 2nd was sent quickly but arrived with a broken propeller attachment so only 3 propellers of the 4 worked properly. When it worked it was amazing and a lot of fun…

Strap is way too tight but otherwise it’s a great kit
IMHO this is a remarkably good kit for the money. It’s easy to get started and the drone handles beginner mistakes very well; I’ve crashed it pretty hard a couple times and the only visible damage is a tiny crack near the power button. It can almost always catch itself if you hit a tree. It somehow compensates for darkness, not sure if it’s the camera doing that or the headset but you can fly in the evening and still get pretty good visibility. If you do happen to crash somewhere after dark the illuminated body makes it easy to find. There are a few things that could use improvement: The strap on the headset was painfully tight no matter how I adjusted it, I think it must’ve been designed for small children. I ended up replacing it with a custom-made strap. The charge in the batteries doesn’t last long at 400mAh, which wouldn’t be a problem except that it’s really hard to find replacements. The only replacement batteries I’ve found so far have even less capacity than the originals. Frequent charge/heavy drain cycles are really rough on any battery so being able to find replacements is very important. One of the propellers kept popping off when I first started using the drone and I eventually lost it in the grass somewhere. Fortunately the kit comes with replacements and once I put on the replacement propeller it hasn’t popped off since. It’s also pretty easy to find replacement propellers, I have a pack of Gemfan propellers just in case one of the original propellers ends up chewing on a tree branch or something but haven’t had to use any yet. Overall though I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a better kit for the price.
