This review is for the AIPER Surfer S2 Solar Pool Skimmer with APP Support, 24/7 Cleaning, Dual Charging Modes, Smart Obstacle Avoidance, Ideal for All Swimming Pool Types. I received it earlier in the Summer, and it's done a fantastic job throughout, but in the fall is where I'm really reaping the benefits. My neighbour has some deciduous trees, and it's one the the earliest to drop it's leaves. We have still had some really warm days so I'm hesitant to close the pool. This Beast has been great at scooping the surface garbage before it goes underwater. The sun isn't as strong as in the height of summer, but the panel gets enough to keep it going. The skimmer is relatively easy to handle and scoop out of the pool. Emptying the filter is also easy. I don't use the Bluetooth, and it does a great job getting around the pool and hitting all the spots.

Worked briefly, then completely failed — disappointing quality I really wanted to like this pool surface skimmer because the idea is great and when it worked, it actually did a decent job. Unfortunately, the unit didn’t last long at all. After a short period of use, it stopped charging entirely and became unusable. I tried different outlets, confirmed the charger was working, and followed all troubleshooting steps. Nothing helped. For a pool device that’s supposed to live outdoors and be used regularly, this kind of failure is unacceptable. Customer support was responsive, but at that point the product itself had already failed, which defeats the purpose. This isn’t a cheap item, and I expected better reliability and durability. If you’re considering this, just be aware that quality control seems to be an issue. I wouldn’t recommend it unless the manufacturer significantly improves the build and longevity.

Very happy with it so far. I haven't used it with a chlorine puck in it as it just opened my pool but it is running all day and all night and seems to be doing a good job.

I’ve been really impressed with the Aiper S2. It’s cordless, super easy to use, and does a great job picking up dirt and debris from the bottom of the pool. I love that I can just drop it in, let it do its thing, and not have to deal with hoses or dragging out a vacuum. The battery lasts long enough to clean the whole pool, and the filter basket is easy to rinse out when it’s done. Overall, it’s made pool maintenance a lot simpler and saved me a ton of time. Definitely a great investment if you want something that works without a lot of hassle. Also, we had a great customer service experience when our machine broke down and we had to utilize the warranty. Definitely a well spent purchase!
