Roku Streaming Stick Plus with Voice Remote - 4K & HDR10+

I am very happy with the Roku Streaming Stick Plus. Setup couldn't have been easier. I literally just plugged it in, signed into my account, and it was ready to go! Within minutes I was streaming all my favorite shows and movies. The picture quality looks great, and the device runs smoothly without any lag. I also love the Voice Remote, which makes it quick and easy to search for shows, launch apps, and control everything without scrolling through endless menus. It's compact, doesn't take up much space, and is a perfect upgrade for an older TV or a great addition to any room in the house. Overall, this is one of the easiest streaming devices I've ever used. Just plug it in, sign in, and it works! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a simple, hassle-free streaming experience.

Roku has made a Great streaming stick, easy to use apps, great graphics! I used Amazon Fire stick for many years but as of late I keep having memory problems and system crashes no matter the age of the stick. Roku is a lifesaver and easy to setup and easy to use.

Fully met my expectations. We have for years had Samsung smart tv's and have used the Samsung remote for control. My wife has dementia and the complexity of navigating the busy, promoting home screen and the complicated, poorly labeled keypad was becoming beyond her ability. After research, the Roku simpler home screen and navigation and the more clearcut remote emerged as the clear winner. All of the home screen "just for you" push crap is missing or can be eliminated in settings, so the content is strictly app navigation. The remote is clearly marked, the keys are single function, the infrared control can be avoided completely for both the stick and the tv power/sound. For my need, this is a clear winner!

The Roku Stick is the only way to go for Hulu Live TV +. Once you get used to it, if is really quick, versatile, and effective. However, to get 100% smooth, glitch free, performance, I had to figure out how to get this perfect performance with very few if any resets, delays, time consuming screen fills, etc. Sure, I lived with these minor but annoying imperfections or glitches for a few months but finally decided to get to the root cause and find a fix because I wanted quality streaming with nearly zero issues. First think I did was to purchase an HDMI extension cable to move the Roku stick farther away from the back of the TV, especially the antenna that is actually the wire from the usb power supply to the stick. Roku does not make that clear in the limited instructions provided, but it's key for best reception to get it out a ways from back of TV. It helped a bit, but the real revelation was, for my streaming + 4K streaming stick, I made the mistake of plugging the A connector into a 5 V power outlet on the TV and it just does not provide 100% smooth power to the stick, on top of not being enough ma for optimal performance all the time. So, I moved it over to a 900 ma usb connection on the TV and it got better but still not perfect. Finally, I tried a 5V 1 ma output wall charger connected to the stick via the original usb antenna/power source cable supplied with the stick and THEN THE PERFORMANCE WAS FLAWLES. The wall plug in power supply is continuous and reliable versus the TV USB which sometimes varies when the TV is using more juice. In summary, buy a 2 or 3 foot hdmi extension, get the antenna and stick out away from the back of the TV, AND BUY A STANDARD 5 VOLT OUTPUT, WALL CHARGER AND CONNECT THE USB CABLE A TO C CONNECTOR TO CONNECT TO THE STICK and it is perfect. This was my experience. I just wish ROKU would have told me all this in the directions. I hope this is helpful. I love my ROKU stick, now that it is sat up optimally.

I love my Roku. I’m still getting used to getting around without cable TV but it’s a whole lot less money now cause Roku handles pretty much all of it. I especially like that the Roku remote can be used for turning the TV off and on turning the volume up and down and using it as a general remote control for everything my old one I had had for probably eight years and equipped working unless I unplugged it and plugged it back in and I was getting tired of doing that every time I wanted to watch Roku so now I’ve let go all of my cable TV channels and I’m using Roku exclusively and I’m loving it.

We got this one to upgrade our previous one. The setup was fairly easy. One issue was you have to have a Roku brick or a USB plug for your tv. If we didn’t have the brick from the previous one it wouldn’t have worked. Before you buy this please check to see if you have a USB port in the back of your TV and where it’s available. If you don’t this doesn’t come with a Brick so it would cost extra. The compatibility is nice. It works with our TV that’s years old. Over 10 years and it streams well. The stability is nice, our previous one would stop working sometimes and that’s the main reason why we got a new one . No issues yet and hopefully never. The overheating isn’t really an issue. It does get hot/warm if you have it one for like hours but there hasn’t been an issue. Now the storage capacity seems to be good for the apps. We have YouTube, Fox News, Max, and Tubi, we haven’t received any news saying our storage is full. One thing I like was the option to use more than 1 remote to control one device. You do need to create a Roku account if you already don’t have one. It has guest mode so if you are renting a place out you can set that and have a date where the person moves out. Overall it’s a good product, only thing I would change the the brick compatibility. Allowing anyone to use any brick to plug it into a wall, and not pay for the Roku one if it’s not included.

This an amazing device when it is not possible to install a terminal for a television set. The installation was simple and I joined the router after about 10 minutes of work. I am able to receive regular channel from my provider and streaming channels to which subscribe. A friend showed me the basics and I am learning more features daily. There is a 163 page manual that I have not downloading. The only issue is that the remote control device does not have a number pad to go directly a channel. One has to key down. When Roku upgrades their device, I will be one of the first to acquire one. Thank you Roku.

Very impressed with Roku. Extremely intuitive to set up and operate. So much better than the old cable system I retired. Love it. CUT the CORD

Been four months since I bought it for someone. They continue to share their experience with me - and I got to try it myself. Definitely a quality streaming stick. Decent speed, Apple Airplay works, and the remote is quite charming. I just wish more were available so I can buy it for myself and a few other people. This was selling for EGP 3,500 when it was available. Now, I see supposedly the cheaper HD stick being sold for around EGP 5K - which is disappointing. Please restock.

Bought this to replace an old Roku stick that served me very well but had become very slow and freezing here and there. It’s nice to have a shiny new one and I love the purpleness of Roku! Just one thing I’m not happy about is the new Roku says it’s not compatible with the web video casting app I used. However, I found another app that does the job just as well so my disappointment was short lived and I’m very happy with it now.
