OK... but was expecting more- Shoe tears at the joints
I purchased this shoe around two and a half years ago. and have tracked in them for around 30 days in total (mostly desert terrain but some canyoning as well in which the shoe was in water). the show itself is very comfortable, had very good friction on sand-stone surfaces (Wadi-Ram Jordan was amazing with them) nothing less than what I you would expect from a Scarpa shoe.However after some time the shoe started to split at the top (where the rubber meets the fabric ) see the attached. this occurs in multiple places where the materials meet, which suggests this is not caused by a tear but by materials not being properly fixed to each other.Again with Scarpa (and the premium price you pay for such as brand) I expected the shoes to simply wear out - usually at the soles / heals but this was not the case (As you can see from the picture - the soles are in very good shape).So pretty disappointing
