I bought this machine for my adult son for his birthday gift, he’s 26. He asked for a Hawaiian ice machine, so he can use with friends at his home. He loves it! He will get more use over warming days ahead. We put together syrups and accessories for fun use. The machine is great. The only one we found that doesn’t need an ice machine also available, as it all is done from making ice to making it into shaved ice. Really worked just like we hoped. Great gift and fun for family and friends to share as well.

Terrible product. Liquid was coming out of the bottom. Hardly any instruction and it doesn’t make ice fast. It’s a very slownprocess

Pro - makes smooth snow, quiet, easy labeled buttons to use Con - takes too long, spent about 15 min to make one rice bowl sized snow from water. Small reservoir. I also tried to make snow with syrup water and it depletes the entire reservoir to make a small rice bowl sized and half of it melted in the bowl since it took too long. People with larger hands would have trouble getting to small tight areas to dry the machine after pouring water to clean. Difficult to adjust tightness of the reservoir tip - if slightly loose it leaks and the top covering the metal ball will loosen up and liquid just poured out midway, if too tight the liquid doesn’t come out enough for compressor to pickup and use. Multiple attempts were made to get the liquid dispenser to work, and somehow liquid was leaking from the right side of the machine, making it a mess on the counter (the reservoir top was still secured, not sure what caused the leak)

Whoever said the instructions were unclear probably just lacked the spiritual capacity to understand them. Seriously though, the instructions are badly, the recipe ideas are too invomplete to be useful, but I wanted a machine to make me ice that I can use for nefarious purposes and this does that. It seems slow but if you just come back a few min later you'll have a tall stack of ice.

This ice cream machine is really neat. I have tried strawberry milk and pineapple juice to make ice cream. I fill the little reservoir and it in turn slowly runs out onto the little metal wheel inside that is frozen and it freezes the liquid. Its not loud while running. It gives off little sheets of ice cream. It makes a significant amount of ice cream with each fill. There are different settings, to slow the wheel or make it quicker, which impacts the consistency of the ice cream. It has a little drip plate to aid in reducing messes. Its easy to clean with water, there is a cleaning setting. Its really compact and lightweight compared to a traditional ice cream maker. Its easy to use and the ice cream is delicious.
