The BLACKHAWK! High Performance Fighting Uniform (HPFU) is a revolutionary approach to the combat uniform, featuring a lean, athletic cut with articulated knees and elbows for increased performance, mobility, and reduced bulk. Constructed with no-melt, no-drip materials, the HPFU uniform integrates four life-saving tourniquets into the arms and legs of each garment and meets U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research tourniquet requirements (USAISR). Features: Can be worn instead of HPFU Shirt/Vest combination; tuxedo-cut design is shorter in front to allow easy access to belt-mounted items; hook & loop mounting points for ID patches, etc.; integrated elbow pad pockets (pads sold separately); textured elbow patches for abrasion resistance; and is available in Black (BK), Olive Drab (OD), and DM3 Desert Digital Camouflage (DD).

tacti cool motorcycle jacket
So first off I want to clarify some things. This is not a shell jacket and doesn't do much in the way of blocking wind either. It's a good solid jacket though. Has decent water resistance and is quite sturdy. This jacket is not a slick as the picture may make it seem. It's a nylon fabric. Which makes it durable and it sports a hearty resistance to most things.I have one minor gripe however. This jackets picture is strange. When I recieved it I realized it has a large flap that only encompasses the back. And it's high low design does turn it into a belly shirt in the front if you even slightly lift your arms. So keep this in mind and order a larger than normal size and you might be okay. It's just strange that Blackhawks would make a design such as this.As I mentioned before the design is the biggest flaw. I almost wanted to return it if it wouldn't cost me any more money but for 30 dollars I don't really care.To be honest however the "ITS" is an interesting concept but that's about it. It's pretty useless actually. Specially considering if you want a jacket that doesn't make you look like a mil spec stripper than they won't even fit where they are needed, and ya know.... That is kind of important with a tourniquet. All in all its a pretty tacti-cool motorcycle jacket for moderate weather with the elbow pads and such. Otherwise don't wear anything underneath it and it may fit okay, or if you have slightly less broad shoulders. It feels okay over a combat 1/4 zip shirt and isn't too cumbersome. I'd probably like it better without Blackhawks its system though. Which I'll probably end up cutting out.

Well Suited
Quite a specialty Jacket not for a beginner as it is designed for excellent maneuverability while comforting as well as it provides excellent all around inside and out pocketing as other additions are also allowed to be added..great fit around all adjustable extremities . Rather expensive "Though at discount price nice enough that i would have been a fool not to choose this intense active wear."
