Will this stack with the ACR ammo crates?

It will stack on the ACR but will slide forward and back. The ACR will not fit in the grooves of the divided ammo crate.

How many MTM 100 round 6x2x6” Ammo boxes can each section stack/fit?

I have 3 MTM ACR12-72 Ammo Crate Utility Boxs and they stack well.... not sure about the MTM 100 round 6x2x6” Ammo box, as I only have one. I wold imagine you could maube safely stack 3, but I would not stack anymore than that just because they are narrower and maybe not as stable as the MCM ACR12-72.

Will it hold 1000 rounds of 30-06?

: I can't vouch for 30-06. I bought mine to separate my different calibers of hand gun ammo. You might want to check out the MTM ACR5-72 ACR5 Ammo Crate. I used those for 5.56 . You can get 1500 5.56 in those so I'm sure 1000 of 30-06 would be no problem.

is it big enough to hold 1000 rounds of .40 still in boxes?

It's big enough. You may not be able to use the dividers with that many boxes
