Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7" Tablet Touch Screen Glass & Digitizer

I have a kindle fire HD 7" tablet and the glass/digitzer that was delivered is larger. The glass was the same height but not the same width. The corners were also more rounded than my version. Additionally the camera hole location was in the wrong place. The kindle fire HD7 camera hole I have is at the top not the side as shown. The model number on the side of the box matched the item at the top of the description (and the camera hole being in the wrong place) so I can only assume the model being sent is somehow what is described.As a side note I purchased my model within the last two months and I have the 4th generation model so it could be a generation issue.

Great, fully compatible replacement product.I learned the hard way that my Kindle Fire had been refurbished (this was a surprise because it was included in a cable subscription years ago but there was no mention that their offering would be refurbished), by taking it apart and failing at separating the broken digitizer from the working LCD.To make a long story short, I learned to buy the LCD alongside this device because there was so much adhesive bonding the two that it was IMPOSSIBLE to separate them without breaking the LCD. So when you go to replace your busted digitizer, have the replacement LCD along for the ride just in case you, too, will find an absurdity of glue all over the two parts.

Only giving this a mid review because it turned out to be the wrong one. Amazon has "changed" the design several times on this device and guess I didn't notice the "not HD" in the description. Which is damned annoying, since I specifically searched "for" the HD screen. Will try a shot at it again, later, when I feel like wasting my time again. Not even sure how the heck to get old screen off, so, no point ordering another one.

Completely useless as it's ONLY the glass. If you are trying to replace broken glass, the LCD behind this will probably not only be broken but be impossible to separate.

It works well. I really like it.

Not the right size. I have a kindle fire and I guess this one is for the HD.
