As an actor, I self-tape auditions regularly, and for the longest time I was using a bedsheet as a backdrop. I finally decided to step up to a more professional setup, and this backdrop paper has been one of the best purchases I’ve made. The matte finish is fantastic. It doesn’t create distracting reflections from my lights, so my videos look much cleaner and more professional. It comes on a roll, so setup is incredibly easy—just unroll the amount you need and you’re ready to film. What really sold me is that you never have to deal with wrinkles. If you’re considering one of those fabric backdrops, don’t waste your money. No matter what you do, you’ll eventually be fighting wrinkles, and they absolutely show up on camera. Trying to iron or steam a huge piece of fabric every time you need to film gets old fast. This paper backdrop completely eliminates that problem. My auditions look so much better, it was reasonably priced, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I highly recommend it to anyone creating self-tapes, YouTube videos, or any kind of professional-looking content. Five stars.
