do these work well (or necessary) on carpet?

My subs are on carpet -- actually, rugs. The instructions for setting up the subs says to place them on carpets. In my opinion, the SVS feet work well on carpet.

Do I have to re-run Audyssey?

Yes re-run Audyssey, since you are using the feet for better sound.

Will the screws fit a bower and wilkins asw610?

The feet come with several different screws to fit a variety of subs. I would check with SVS direct to be sure.
