Absolutely brilliant little unit. This is replacing my old Acer Aspire 12 year old laptop running win 10 with a Q3610M I7 8 thread cpu.. I did a benchmark test and single threaded performance of the N100 is actually slightly faster than the Q3610M! if it was 8 threads it would be faster than my old I7.. crazy how good tech is now. Have this set up in my observatory and hasn't missed a beat - only thing I recommend doing is disable the USB power management in device manager otherwise Win 11 will turn off your USB devices to save power (found this out the hard way with a USB 3 2.5gbit ethernet adapter when it was dropping out after a while). Got an Arduino in one port, 2.5 gig adapter in another and then an 8 port usb 3 hub in the last port. Running SGP with PHD2 with zero issues - it just works! highly recommend this system

User Experience: Setting up the mele Quieter 4C was a breeze. It comes preloaded with Windows 11, which runs flawlessly. The fact that it stays completely silent is a big bonus—no fan noise even when the system is under load. This has made my work environment much more peaceful. Overall, this mini PC is an amazing deal for the price. It combines powerful performance, sleek design, and the perfect quiet operation. Love this little box, mine's currently sitting quietly in the cabinet under the TV, taking up almost no space, running Plex on Linux Mint. Handles all 1080p H264 movies I throw at it. It does struggle a bit with 4K H265, but I'd rather have the much smaller file size - 4K is really for those who like to play Top Trumps, IMHO. The box can run hot, but that's the price you pay for the size and lack of fan - the case is doing what it's supposed to do. It's been running reliably non-stop for a few years now, and has only hung once, which was my fault (a process died when I ran out of disk space). It may not be fast enough for some people, but general browsing, email, content consumption is very useable. I've not tried gaming on it, but then again I used to run Minecraft on an Atom based 1GB Samsung NC10 quite happily, so I'm not the kind of player that pushes kit to its limits trying to get every last FPS out of something. I would definitely buy again if this one died.
